Forever Lazy website scam Wallingford, Connecticut |

I hope everyone reads this before they have ordered. I saw this ad on t.v. or the clothing, which was a buy one get one free. The going rate was $30 for the two, plus shipping and handling. No problems so far. Went to the ad on the website. It asked for all the credit card information and shipping address before anything else. Went through it and picked the colors and sizes for the 2 pieces of clothing. Read through everything and then came to the final page (I realized after the fact) It then went to a page that stated I had completed the transaction and they were being shipped. Looking at the price I was astounded to see that it was 4 times the original amount! I figured this to be a mistake and called the next morning to speak to someone. They then told me that the colors and sizes had to be the same for both of them to get that deal. I politely asked him to tell me where it was listed on the commercial or on the website. He told me he couldnt find it. But as he explained, my order had already been shipped to me (this was less than 12 hours. I ordered at 10pm and phoned at 8am next day) so there was no way he could change it. He was willing to give me 20 dollars off of my purchase though. Skip forward 2 weeks later I went to pick them up and there was a C.O.D. on them for $30. So the money he had saved me just got eaten up. I phoned them up and asked what could be done about it and they told me I could return it. For a fee of $30! So either way Im into this for $60. The call center employee was not knowledgeable about anything that the company did or about the website. I asked for a manager and she told me there was none and that she was the only one on the phones. I hope that these people get their act together and put up a disclaimer on the website saying something about the BOGO offer. As far as Im concerned these things had better be the most comfortable P.J.'s ever. If you have a story like this please share it. Maybe we can have them change these internet shark tactics. Thank you. |

I've had the same experience with a little twist. I too fell for the BOGO, selected 2 different colors and sizes and got to the final page and saw I had been charged just over $90 for 4! When I called I actually got someone on the phone that was able, and apparently willing, to cancel one of them (really 2) for me. So I wait, and wait, and wait and then I get a shipping notice. I had ordered 1 set of pink in medium. My shipping order said I was getting 1 blue in large and a purple Snuggie?! So I looked up their customer service site and my receipt really said 1 medium pink. I called and at first I was told my whole order had been cancelled. After arguing about what my ship notice and receipt said I was put on hold. The agent came back and said that they had added the Snuggie as a thank you for the substitution in my order. Apparently they do not have all sizes and colors so they will ship you what they do have. I told her that was great but I had ordered this as a gift for myself and my little mother. She told me that she would refund the whole order and I could keep the items but they didn't actually refund the shipping and I have yet to receive anything at all! Horrible experience! |

I just had the exact same experience. I mistakingly order 4 items and not 2. I too called the next morning and they were able to change my order. I received the items today. I order 2 pink size medium and received 2 blue size extra large with a free purple snuggie because they had to substitute my order. The funny thing is, they already knew when I called to change my order that they would be giving me the incorrect items because she said I had a purple snuggie on my order that they were giving me for free. |
