I am trying to find a way to contact the corporate offices to verbalize my complaints. I am a very unhappy customer and believe me - I have made one negative post about my pop-up and will continue to do so by mouth and by internet. We purchased a brand new 2010 Flagstaff 625D in August of 2009. We have used it a total of 7 times and have yet to not have something fall apart on each and every trip. The quality sucks - our follow up service where we purchased it sucks! We will be updating sooner than later because we are not going to allow Forest River and Flagstaff to ruin our joy of camping with our family. Believe me... we will not be purchasing another camper from Forest River. List of problems: 1. Our battery that came with it NEVER worked. We spent our fist several trips using jumper cables because no one ever showed us another way to get it up, nor could we find out how. 2. Our water filter system broke and required replacing after 5 trips. 3. Our door has never latched appropriately and we spend much time each trip trying to get it to fit and stay in place - despite being level. Then this year, one of the latches broke off and no one seems to be able to have the parts to fix it. 4. Today on returning from our 7th weekend trip in the camper, we went to put the sink up and the shelving in it completely broke. It was not overloaded - we did what we were suppose to with it. Absolutely CHEAP!! The piece in front that finishes the look of the sink broke and now just looks awful. 5. The propane won't light to supply our indoor refrigerator and stove. 6. The emergency break line snapped and broke on it's own, while parked in my driveway after just returning from the dealership for inspection. Thank GOD that didn't happen while we were driving it home. 7. The water in the shower area - won't go off. We have never used but it is a constant slow leak if hooked up to water. Right now we have several more camping trips planned for the summer and probably several hundred dollars worth of work that needs to be done to that CHEAP camper. Very frustrating considering we do take good care of it and it just keeps falling apart. I anticipate that in the next couple of weeks we will just trade in and upgrade...it can be your problem.... and we will have a quality camper from another maker. |
