I would not recommend ford of Kirkland to anyone. Me and my fianc went in
to them to look at a few cars that we had seen online and were interested in,
we got there the sales man asked me what we were looking for we told him what we
had seen online, he said the first thing he wanted to do was see what we could
get financed for, which I was ok with, he came back and said we only got
approved for 1 car a 2004 Saturn ion, 5 spd black it was a nice little car and
my fianc liked it so we took it for a test drive, talked about it decided we
liked it, we did all the paper work and left with our car. We get a call from
the sales man on Nov 26 saying that they need more information that everything
was fine and it happens all the time, so we email him the info don't hear
nothing back so we figure it was taken care of.
I call the finance company on Dec 14 to make my payment
which was 3 days late cause I lost my debit card and had to wait for my new
card. I talk to the finance company they congratulate me on my new car I make
my payment and set up auto pay and go on my way. Dec 20 comes around and the
sales man calls and is being really rude and short saying we never sent him the
information and that the finance company isn't doing the loan now and that we
need to give him all this info so that he could try to find financing for us I
tell him not to do that and that we will bring the car back in on Dec 21 and
figure out what's going on and he tells us that if we don't do the financing
right now were going to lose all our money and the car. So we talk to an
attorney and see what our options our.
She says they can't do that and that if
we tell them we want to unwind the deal and null and void the contract was
entitled to our money back. the attorney calls ford of Kirkland they talk, the
attorney calls us back and says they said they'd unwind the deal and give us
our money back minus $.50 cents a mile so we go back in and we talk to Waly
Baily, he seemed really nice he apologized we figured out the mileage, after
taking out the mileage it left us with $156 of our $1150 that we had put down,
he said that if we called our attorney and told her that they had taken care of
us and everything was good now he would give us $250, we thought about it, I we
agreed cause that would at least give us the $300 check the finance company
said they were sending us and plus that towards a car cause now were car less I
have to get back and forth to work and my finance is 3 months Prego. So we call
our attorney and tell her they did us right and we leave with a check for $250
and go to look at another car lot for a car.
we talk to a couple people and tell them what's going on,
and they tell us that they have within
96 hours of the deal to secure financing and if they don't they have to request
the car back and give customer
everything invested in the car back and see if customer would like to try and
secure another loan. They never did that they called us a month and a half
later telling us this. Now I'm stuck paying $900 dollars for them screwing up,
not going to happen, I talked to Mr. Baily yesterday he was supposed to call me
back and tried to call him today nothing, I'm not getting screwed and will be
calling Mr. Pat Semler and starting a dealer investigation of this matter, I'm
going to being filling complaints to the DOT, FTC, and BBB, and will pursue
this matter until rectified. I don't advise you go through Ford of Kirkland,
unless you want this to happen |
