After biding on a vehicle on ebay, Greg Casamento ( used JOHN as his middle name) contacted me on my phone for a chat.
He had wrote that the vehicle, a 1960 cadillac had no rust, he had spent more than $5000.00 on the motor and transmission drive line.
It had new shocks, new lights, radiator was cleaned and repaired, new brakes, new dashboard ect ect
This was his personal car and part of his extensive collection he was selling off
It took 6 weeks for the car to be picked up by the towing company.
Greg always blamed the towing company for not picking up the vehicle.
The towing company always said he was never there when they went to pick up the vehicle
At the end i had to pay another $150.00 for him storing the vehicle he would not release
When the vehicle was finally at the shipping depot they sent me a report with the condition of the vehicle.
It had 3 broken side windows, rust in 4 panels, dashboard cracked, damaged moulding , broken lights,
I Thought the shipping company was over exaggerating.
When i recieved the vehicle almost 4 months after i purchased the car ( It was ship[ped to Australia ) I realised that this was nothing like he advertised it and told me on the phone.
He also took the $700.00 radio , spare wheel, wheel trims off before shipping.
When looking at the photo's ,all the windows were down , thats why you could not see them cracked, and only showed the good parts of the car.
The $5000.00 he spent on the drive line was a can of Blue paint and black paint when he sprayed the motor, the transmition slip's and both leak plenty of oil
No new brakes or shocks
Ebay wont help because it was more than 45 days after purchase Botton line to anybody buying something from this LIAR is DONT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY untill you seee what your getting bifurcate
