I am a long time customer of Wells Fargo Bank and I am living with full blow AIDS and wanted to go back to work doing hair. I spoke with representative from Wells Fargo Bank and was set up with a lease through First Data Global Leasing in June of 2010. I fell very ill with pneumonia in early October and had to quit working. I let the lease continue with the hopes that I would be physically able to go back to work. After several months being ill I gave up and decided that I had to get out of the contracts both with bank and First Data. I, along with my partner, spoke with them on 12/10/10 and came to an agreement for me to mail back equipment and they would end the lease. The received the machine, via Fedex on 2-2-11 @ 11:40 a.m. , signed by M. Butler at their posted address. This is now March and I have been in multiple arguments with them and now being told that even though I no longer have the equipment I am still liable for a "buyout" in the amount of $2300. That is outrageous considering that they made an agreement in December to end this lease as well as they now have the equipment. They are liars, thieves and scumbags to treat people as they do and are now threatening to sue me! I say go right ahead and see if they can get blood from a turnip! Beware of both First Data as well as Wells Fargo merchant services. They are useless in resolving issues and I am now closing my account with them so that I no longer have to deal with them!
