Fine focus photography / Stephanie Faulkner Wedding day scam Brunswick, Ohio
19th of Oct, 2011 by User541779
I used Stephanie Faulkner of fine focus photography for my wedding. I got married 6 weeks ago and paid her up front $900 for 6 hours of her time. She showed up an hour late and left about 15-30 minutes early. She promised to make it up to me when we met to go over my pictures. This is something that never happened. We've had several "meetings" that were suppose to take place that never did and now she is not returning phone calls, texts or emails. I've seen 43 pictures that she posted to Facebook. I want to make sure no one uses her ever. She took a special day in my life and dumped all over it and now I am out $900 and have 43 pictures to show for it. My wedding was 6 weeks ago and I hope whoever sees this will pass around the message so she is never used again. I also had an engagement session done with her. We did this in April. She claims to have taken 70+ pictures. To date I have only seen 11 that she posted in Facebook of course. Please no one use her! I don't want what happened to me to happen to any more people.

This person calls herself a wedding photographer. She is hardly a photographer at all.

She "photographed" my friends wedding. She was over an hour late, missing crutial photos of the "getting ready process". She showed up in jeans and a tank top, looking very inprofessional. Most of the time she was "photographing" she was on her cell phone texting or at some time- smoking as she was taking our pictures.

The icing on the cake was that she quietly snuck out of the wedding early. She left before the First Dance, the Father/Daughter Dance, the Mother/Groom Dance, the bouquet toss and the garter toss.

This "photographer" was paid $1000 in advance for her services and was contracted to work from 3-9. she showed up about 4:15pm and left by about 8pm. The bride, (my friend) has seen only about 20 or so images from her special day and the "photographer" has been dodging her calls and has no showed to numerous appointments they have scheduled. The photos were promised within 6 weeks and it has been over 8 weeks now.

Please let this be a warning to all Brides in the northeast Ohio region.
