Went to the Eyemasters in Conroe, TX on 4/25/2011. Suppose to be able to get 2 pair of glasses for 99.00 or buy one and get one free (I had their coupons in my hand). Danielle met me and informed me that I could select 2 of the $69.00 pair of frames and get my bifocal/no glare/lightweight lens for $199.00. Wrong... $309.92 later I was told my glasses would arrive on 05/09/2011. On 5/7/2011 I received a phone call from Danielle stating it might take a couple of days more to receive my glasses. On 5/09/2011 I called Eyemasters of Conroe at 936 441 1215 and asked about my glasses. Whoops... Houston we have a problem. No glasses and no date for glasses to arrive. On 5/11/2011 I stopped in at their location. No glasses, no clue when glasses would arrive, but one pair was broken so they were having to be redone. The other pair are suppose to arrive on 5/12/2011 and would I like to wait 2-3 weeks for 1/2 of my money to be refunded by the corporate offices in San Antonio and they'll still give me 2 pair of glasses. Fine. By then I was extremely upset. I'm on a fixed income so I can't just pop out and buy more glasses. Emails to the corporate offices does no good by the way. I've gotten 1 response out of at least 10 emails. 5/12/2011 about 4:30 pm I called them because no one had called me. Oh the box arrived but it hasn't been opened yet. On hold while Danielle goes to open the box. Oh silly me... the box was opened but it will be another 30-40 minutes before glasses are ready. 6:49 pm I get a phone message from Danielle. Whoops! The glasses are the wrong prescription and no clue about arrival of 2nd pair. Yes, I got irate. She kept asking "what can I do to help you", honestly she should be thankful I didn't tell her. Started sending emails to the customer service. Now it's Friday morning and no response from emails. So I call the 800 669 1183 customer service number. Have to leave my name and number. Gave up waiting for a call back and called again. Got some woman named Susan who puts me on hold while she calls Danielle in Conroe. Like that's going to help. Susan comes back on the phone finally. By now I'm losing my voice. Danielle's offer now is wait 2-3 weeks for full refund to arrive from corporate and get 1 pair of glasses free. Hello! Are we talking about getting the glasses that are the wrong prescription or the pair they broke? I'm almost 64 are they going to arrive before I die of old age? I'm going to take my prescription to another place and get glasses. I can't wait another 3 weeks for glasses and 3 weeks for a refund. Guess if the refund doesn't arrive on the date it is suppose to then I'm going to the Justice of the Peace and file a Small Claims suit against Eyemasters of Conre.

dang thats f*cking crazy. i was about to purchase some glasses from there. glad i read this first. thanks for the heads up.
