Extra Money Zone and Shopper Systems |
Mystery Shoppers MONEY TO REVIEW AVAILABLE ASSIGNMENTS |
29th of Feb, 2012 by janeurass |
These two companies are one and the same. I reached them at 888-830-2894. I called twice today to learn more about the job opportunity listed in my local pennysaver. The first call I was told the company name was "Extra Money Zone.com" and during the second call I was it was called "Shopper Systems.com".
DO NOT GIVE EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES YOUR CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT CARD NUMBERS. FOLKS USE COMMON SENSE. IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IT!
Here is what I was told: We provide you training for Mystery Shopping (Quality Assurance) for corporations like WalMart, CVS and Wendys. You can earn up to $50 per shopping assignment which is only 15-20 minutes. (REALLY....that would mean $2.50-$3.33 per minute). The first 7 days are free for a $2.95 register fee and then training is free..REALLY? Then only $49.95 a month thereafter to VIEW your assignments. REALLY I have to pay to see the assignments I would be pay to perform?
What they really mean is that the cost of $49.95 is to review potential Mystery Shopping positions that a corporation may post. HOWEVER, you can see real Mystery Shopping jobs for free on a legitimate job board like Monster.com or Careerbuilder.com.
I mentioned this to the representatives and all they can say is that the $49.95 a month allows you to view your assignments. I explained that this made no senseand sounded very expensive to view my own assignments. The last rep. only read from a script and did not understand that the fee she was discussing was to see the potential jobs.
Search the internet for thesse two company names and the words complaints and/or review and you will find 100's of consumer complaints stating that they were charged during the "free period" (some 7 days and others 14 days) and were not able to get their money back and some people were charged twice in a month.
As the representative attempted to keep asking me for my credit card number, I told the representative I wanted to do research on her company before I paid a penny and check with the BBB and she clearly and stupidly said "We are not part of the BBB!" Well that should sum it up for everyone! If a company is not willing to participate with the BBB, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY...BUT POST ALL THEIR UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR SO WE CAN SHUT THEM DOWN! |

We found a number to call 18883800083 and they wanted us to give them our credit card info. over the phone they wanted only 2.95 to start and told us they would reimburse us once we were registered. They said they we couldn't pay over the internet because we had not been registered yet. They also said we could give our credit card information to pay pal and than pay them through pay pal. We were also really excited about becoming Mystery Shoppers but, it's not worth us being scammed. I don't know any trustworthy Mystery Shopper Companies so, I'd honestly rather not take the RISK !!! Just don't buy into their scam. It sounds good but, it's not worth being scammed which may turn into several dollars. They also promised as much as 50.00 an hour once you've started becoming their Mystery Shopper. |
