Every Floor everyfloor.com Credit Card Fraud!!! Dania, Florida |
8th of May, 2011 by User780185 |
I ordered backsplash tile from EveryFloor (website everyfloor.com) from their brick and mortar showroom located at 1900 Tigertail Blvd in Dania, FL in April 2011. I paid extra to have the product delivered to my address in Miami. After the 5-7 processing and shipping days had passed, I had not yet received my tiles. Spoke with Julio and was told that it would be delivered within a few more days. A few more days passed and I still did not receive my tile. After another phone call, he told me that it would be delivered in exactly 2 more days. After 2 more days, product was still not delivered. When I asked to speak with the owner, the request was refused and I was hung up on. After multiple phone call attempts, my calls go straight to voicemail. Even my bank attempted to contact the company without success. I still have no tiles and have no way of contacting the owner now for a refund. Fortunately, my bank will reimburse me for the purchase. However, it will not cost me significantly more to purchase and install the same tile. Because they took my credit card info, charged me for the product and never delivered, this is classified as credit card fraud. I made my purchase at this store because of the low price that they advertised on their website. Only now do I realize that I was bated. If any one has any information on the owner/company and have a similar experience, please share. |

Purchase made from Everyfloor.com via their 1-800 number. Tile was purchased on 4/27/2011, for $759.22 paid for with visa check card, 60 pieces of Tesoro Listello12 x 12 Reflections Jazzy Penny Round Mosaic Tile.
Was told it would ship by 5/6/2011. As of yesterday, 5/23/2011, tile has not shipped. When I call I keep getting a gentleman by the name of Julio, who keeps telling me it's going to ship in the next day and he'll call me back with tracking info. When this hasn't proven true, I've asked to speak with a manager who he always tells me is not there. He assures me he will have someone call me back - but they never do. Have also tried sending emails through their customer service link online as well but no one ever responds. Yesterday, I finally expressed my frustration to Julio and he refused to help me because he said I wasn't being appreciative. His customer service skills are a joke! I've been EXTREMELY polite and patient up to this point. I could even deal with adelay if they could explain the hold-up and manage my expectations. The run-around and poor customer service I am getting is leading me to believe that this company is a FRAUD! I'm out a lot of money, no tile, project completely on hold and out money paid to contractors now unable to work because the tile is not here.
I reported it to the BBB today. If no response is received, I WILL be contacting the Florida Secretary of State office as well!
Also - may or may not be related, had to report fraudulent charges and cancel the same Visa card just this week. Doesn't impact this purchase as charge was made and cleared a month ago, just seems fishy as it's a card I rarely use! |

same thing happened to me on 5/20/2011 i ordered tile...then yesterday i got an automated email stated that order was cancelled due to "technical diff"...i called them today and was told that i would have to call my CC company to get money refunded. They were not shipping order and they were not issuing a refund either. This is what I was told...they do have a great price, but apparently can't do business in a proper manner. I would not waste my time ordering just to have the order cancelled. this is imperative if you are on a construction schedule and need to have material on a specific time frame. If you can order DIRECTLY from the manufacturer or cooltiles.com |

Similar story. Placed an order online with www.everyfloor.com on May 8 for glass tile with a total over $600. After no word for more than 2 weeks, I called and was told the order was delayed at least another 2 weeks. Request to speak to a manager was denied. Two days later I received an email stating they couldn't fill the order and I should contact my credit card company for a refund. I have tried emailing and calling the company and got only voicemail. No responses received to any messages or emails. I notified my bank of a fraudulent credit scheme and they are investigating too, but the number on file for the merchant doesn't even work. Bank considers it fraud. Tonight I filed a BBB complaint online as well. |

FYI, I'm in Tennessee and ordered online so this is apparently a scam across state lines involving wire and credit card fraud. Thus Federal. |
