I enrolled in school in August 2010. My FAFSA was submitted on time. The institution decided to change how they processed their financial aid for students by eliminating the third party company that usualy used. This action caused a delay in students, such as me, from having their financial aid post to their account. It is now November and I still have not been credited for financial aid from August. I had to withdraw from school but was told by several financial aid representatives and business office associates that me withdrawing would not affect my financial aid for the August term. I was informed today that since I withdrew my financial aid will not be processed causing me to have a balance on my account. This is due to negligence on Everest University's behalf and I feel that it is both unethical and cruel to deceive students this way.

Hey,

My Name is Carolyn and I am a Student at Everest, it appears this has been a problem with many students concerning this issue.

I hope you saved all your correspondence concerning this issue, throughout the whole process, concerning your disbursements.

If things are not repaired in timely manner with this institution, I am going to an attorney with this matter, and would like to know if you would like to participate in this, if this is the route that has to be taken concerning this issue.

I am currently with Everst University online and The finical aid lady that i talked to since day one named Janet she said that the first disimbursments were set for may 18th and that after that they would send a check within 14 days. I keep emailing her asking her about it cuz now its june 1st and she said she hasnt gotten anything about disembursments yet to just keep checking back and she'll keep any eye out. idk if i shoudl trust this with the rewview im reading.
