Etours and Travel Defrauding Families for over 6 years Orlando, Florida

The company, Etours and Travel, called me this evening, offering a 4D hotel stay in Orlando, 4D in Daytona, Enterprise 7D car rental, 7D Star passes to Universal City Walk for $99. I would only be required to do a 45-60 min golf cart tour of a resort with no obligation to buy. 12 months to reserve and 2 years to use. The Promotions Manager even got
on the phone, after I explained to the agent that I had just put my kids to sleep and would not go to my car to get my credit card until the morning (I requested a call back), explaining that the agents could not make direct calls because the calls themselves were computer generated and that he, the manager, would extend to me a 15 day, money back
guarantee if I decided that I was not interested. But, I had to purchase the package, right then and there. He even had the audacity to suggest that I go out of my bedroom window to get my credit card, if I couldn't tip toe past my kids. After realizing that I was not willing to succumb to his ridiculous suggestion, he said he would have the agent call me
back in 10 minutes from his personal cell phone to secure the deal. No return phone call was received. I have been scammed by these crooks before, about 4 1/2 years ago, while living in Ft. Myers. They conned me out of $198.00 promising a week's vacation accommodations, again in Orlando. I was never able to book the trip within the 1 year period because I could not get through via phone, my emails went unanswered and although the "manager" assured me I would be refunded for my trouble, it never materialized. After about 4 months, I tired of the futile attempts to get my money back and chalked it up to my own naivety. However, now they are at it again. I am furious that an obvious and damaging scam that preys on families has been allowed to continue with their robbing and stealing for this long.

There are plenty more negative comments, experiences and complaints on numerous blog and consumer review cites siting the heinous acts of these culprits. These date back to 2005!!!!!! These people have been allowed to openly commit fraud by promising services that can not be rendered or when they actually do provide accommodations or a rental car, the unmentioned charges are twice the price of the purchased package and/or the hotel/rental car company has no record of the reservations. One must wonder how Etours and Travel could possibly have remained in the business of defrauding consumers and further devastating consumer confidence in the agencies that were designed to safeguard against this type of blatant abuse of the system for over 6 years, when there exists a consumer minded entity, that is supposed to protect the interests of people and stop, as well as prevent this type of unethical behavior.
Please, fulfill your moral, ethical and professional responsibility to the consumer, and stop these con artists now. I am respectfully submitting this complaint to you, as well as the Better Business Bureau. I look forward to hearing from you soon in regards to the actions taken to ensure that Etours and Travel is permanently disabled in their ability to commit fraud, harass people relentlessly with unsolicited phone calls and emails, and that, ideally, these criminals are made to make retributions for their transgressions.
