ESTATE CLASSICS PREMIER ESTATE RESALE ESTATECLASSICS 14999 PRESTON RD OWNER LORI HUEY STOLE MY MERCHANDISE AND WHEN I CALLLED TO GET THEM SHE SAID |
28th of Jun, 2011 by User391425 |
I went to Estate Classics and assigned 20 items before moving to CA. I followed up on the weekends and Lori Huey seemed offended that I wanted a report on the items sold. From there it got worse, right before I left I went in and she was confrontational and angry that I wanted a report. I had to call police to make sure she would release my things. In front of the police she said ok, when the movers came she said the items were on lay-a-way. It was obvious she has done this before. I sent a friend over to check on the remaining items and she offered to sale them to him. This confrimed to me that they were not on lay-a-way and she planned on keeping my funiture. By the 90th day I flew into Dallas to pick up the remaining items she said, "we don't do customer service on Weekends". Keep in mind I dropped my things off on March 27th 2011, which is a Sunday. In respect to her words I called back on a Wedensday to make arrangments, she hung up in my face with the words, "F-you". Needless to say she planned on keeping my funiture without paying anything! Beware of this place. They will steal your furniture. |

Lori Huey of Estate Classics in Dallas did the same thing to my mother. We had furniture delivered leftover from a moving sale. Took pictures of every item left at Estate Classics for consignment. Went in a few weeks later to check on things and could not find all of the furniture we had delivered. Lori was not nice to us when we asked her about the furniture. Said it was never delivered and the stories grow from there. Still don't know where half of the furniture is and now she has moved locations. She deserves the F rating on the Dallas BBB and I wish we had known better than to deal with this corrupt business woman. |

Lori did the same thing to me. First, she said that she didn't turn back items to the movers when actually she didn't accept a table top, a statue table and several sets of real wood blinds. Then she told me the movers broke all of the glass shelves so she didn't accept the items. This is another one of her lies, she took my furniture to an estate sale and never paid me for the items. Second, she said I had to wait 90 days for payment then she said I had to wait 30 days after the ninety days. She paid me only for a few things, all of the prices out of her memory, no records were posted from the past two months. She made up prices.
Lori is rude to her employee and customers insulting them and treating them like slaves. The movers said her employee helped him up the items in her storage area. She sold an items for $100 that was brand new and the original price was $3, 500. She is very unethical in her business dealings. Beware... |
