EquityLifestyles Thousand Trails Poor Customer Service, Devious Business Practices, Unfair Employment Practices ChicagoI, Illinois |

My family has been members of Thousand Trails campgrounds for many years, and spend a lot of money each year to keep our memberships. A few years ago they were purchased by EquityLifestyles, a company that owns mobile home parks. Since that time, the number of parks has been reduced, the useage has been limited for members, and the costs are exhorbitant! Every fee has doubled and tripled, while the parks have fallen further into disrepair. The empoyees we speak to all over the country are unhappy with the new rules and changes, and are told that this company runs as a "bottom-line business" and the feelings of the members or employees are not their concern. What was once a joy for familiies is now an adventure into the high-cost, high-membership fee world of ELS. |

I visited at Rancho Oso 9-19-11 to 9-26-11 in a VIP getaway cabin, it was a poor excuse for a VIP cabin, it did not have a big deck on the back like the others did it had a small porch in front, 2 plastic chairs no table, the bedroom had no night tables with draws to put you close in, the bed was bad, I woke up with my back hurting and I couldn't do anything the rest of the week because of my back, the place need some repair I had to fix the blinds in front on the slider the handle came off when I tried to open the blinds, so I fixed it 2 days later one of the panels came off so I fixed it, the back door door knob was loose, I wasn't going to use that door so I did not fix it. The kitchen didn't have enough cabinets space. Nobody came to check on us the whole week to see if we needed anything. That was the first and last time we will visit Rancho Oso. I would like to get my week back, I feel we got ripped off on our VIP cabin, If this is what TT is going to use for VIP cabins I won't rent any more of them. Michael Ficarelli # 298619500 |
