I booked a flight from Lisbon to Cali (Colombia) beginning January 2012, they declined my credit card twice, although there is enough credit on it, I received email from them, I had to do bank transfer, so I did. I wasn't able to see my credit card account slips until may because always traveling, my mom sends them to me and I see that edreams took 740,-Euro the first time they charged my card, this in addition to the bank transfer they asked me to do. Because it was more than 3 months ago my bank couldn't do anything for me, I wrote edreams several times claiming my money back, but they completely ignore my writings, although I send them prove of the 740,-Euro they charged my credit card with !!! The numbers they provide me with can't be called, not from Skype nor from my cell phone. I would appreciate any tip to get my money back, please avoid this company under all circumstances !! |

I have had similar experience with edreams this week. I booked a flight online but at the payments section it kept saying something like booking NOT processed. Finally after 3 attempts it said it was processed. I received a text message within a few minutes but have not received a confirmation email or reservation number. There is also no booking details when I log into my edreams account or follow the link in the text message.
The money has been taken out of my credit card.
I have sent numerous emails to edreams requesting my booking confirmation and reservation number but to date I have had no response.
I will be taking this further if I do not have a response in the next day. |

Ohh I feel your pain, rarely my booking actually went through, the problem was my flight was cancelled a few months later so they have to give me a refund...firstly I have to fight to get them to refund my flight, despite the fact it is no fault of mine the flight is cancelled!! So they finally authorise my refund to be processed, but there is an issue because the original card I booked the flight with is no longer active. Again a big drama, but I finally got them to agree to refund the money to me via bank transfere, by this point I have lost all faith in them delivering on ANYTHING they said, so sent two further emails getting them to confirm they would transfere the funds directly into my bank...and of course I get an email a month later saying my refund has been processed...to my original card!! They are now refusing to acknowlegde there is an issue, telling me to 'speak to my bank' and my bank cannot do anything because they cannot trace funds from a cancelled card.
So there is me kissing over 1000 dollars good bye!! Don't know where to turn next!

Be careful con eDreams. Everything was OK with my credit card but they told me that something wrong happened with this. After call with my bank and check that everything was OK ... I have contacted them again. After pay more than 15 € more, in telephone charge, they told me that if I would like to have the same offer I need to pay 75 € more... of course I said no! because I had found other better offer ... but after that they took my money in their account and I do not know for how long time... and now I have to wait to see what happen...and I do not know if I am going to spend my holidays in Russia or the the park of my city!!! in spanish there is an expresion...

Dear. Regarding the Edreams company I must say they work really good. It might be sometimes that you cant get every information at once, what is probably due to their world wide net of offices, but anyway they work really good.
By now I already bought 5 ot more air tickets directly from my computer from Slovenia. I also had trouble with my credit card, they said due to security reasons but anyhow a got my money back to the credit card in let' say 8 workin day not 5 like edreams said. But anyway everything was ok. They also helped me with the payment directly to their account, since the crdit card did't hold that much limit.
I must say I was sceptic at the begining but, this edreams works just fine. Just read the instructions well!

A Swedish blogger wrote last year in her blog that EDreams is a fraud company. They took double amount from her card and she never got to travel either:

hey!
I bet I have the best story of all! Edreams robbed me of 3, 000 dollars on a flight within Spain. They charged me for the flight several times until my account was completely drained, and the customer service refuse to look into it. do NOT ever buy from Edreams, its a SCAM |
