Ebay Rips off sellers, allows buyers to be scammers! Internet

I offered an auction up on ebay for my old iPhone.
I have been using ebay since 1996 to buy and sell various items. All along i have only received perfect (100%) feedback rating of 210 feedback left.
This phone was sold to someone in Russia. I thought i was being kind by offering the buyer all different shipping options. This particular buyer picked priority mail prepaid box to ship to them, as it was significantly cheaper then any other option available.
I shipped the item via the required shipping method.
The customer got back to me and complained they did not get the shipping. I assumed this was on them, because they opted out of the more expensive shipping with tracking. I had proof that i sent the item, but could not track it.
Ebay says that it is the sellers responsibility. it's my fault.
I'm to blame for the bidder who scammed me, received the item, knowing i had no proof, and asked for a full refund. It's my fault.
So if you ever buy something and have a shipping option that has no tracking, feel free to complain that you never got it, and Ebay's got your back. That's right, Ebay supports and promotes theft against a seller. all to make more buyers flock to Ebay.
