We have been under contract with the company for nearly 3 years...at first it was Delta com then Earthlink bought them out....and the trouble started...loss of service multiple times...internet down lines down. I will give you a warning...this is a VERY SMALL dept and they do take all holidays off and close at 6pm est....this means you have NONE...NO customers services if your lines are down. It usally take them ont he average of 3 days to fix a trouble ticket and this is IF the person that helps you actually finishes the ticket and submits. After 3 years we have had enough...the pricing is not competitive and the service is poor....my advice is to STAY AWAY...RUN AWAY VERY FAR AND VERY FAST FROM either Delta com or Earthlink.... YOU WILL BE SORRY if you do not. Once you sign a contract they have a very expensive buy out for early termination that they will not waiver from. On top of that they mke you send in a signed letter ...written letter 30 dyas prior to disconnect or transfer from them. Then they tell you is may take 60 days to complete...this is another way of getting 2-3 months of money from you. They will block your number or internet and then after you pay tell you it make take up to a week to reconnect...and believe me it will. After the last fiasco..i was on the phone for nearly 1 hour with customer care complaining and the lady acted like i was wasting here time for complaining about them losing my unblock notice. The rep that took payment never completed it...and 5 days later still not service. The excuse was everyone is off for MLK Holiday...WTF!? I finally after close to an hour got reimbursed $3.00 for loss service. This is the truth and take this good advice and look elsewhere for service...DO NOT DEAL OR GO INTO CONTRACT WITH DELTACOM OR EARTHLINK RUN! |
