This Guy is Very Slick - A Total Fraud Artist - A Master at this - Be Very Careful - Will Take You For All You Got with a Huge Smile and Charm with that heavy (fake?) Italian accent and the stylish Italian clothing and the offer of Genuine Armani Products he wants to give away for a great deal to avoid duties - TOTAL BS!!
What he got: $500 Canadian
What I got: five made in China jackets with made in Italy tags.
Also they smell of strong chemicals !!
Did not get License Plate or Photo - Feel Like A Total Loser !!

What Happened:
- Approached by guy in SUV asking me for directions to Airport.
- I offer him help. Even draw out directions.
- He tells me he has been in Canada for 10 Days at Trade Shows in Montreal and Toronto and to visit Harry Rosen Stores.
- He gives me a Business Card with the following info:

(There is a logo with a Capital A in Centre and at corner a pair of wings (Green & Red that Mimic Armani Logo)

- He tells me he loves Canada - I bet you he loves Canada - He loves F*****G Canadians In the A**
- He asks me what line of work I do, then quickly gets out of car to open back door and tell me he wants to avoid paying duties at airport and would offer me his Armani samples for a great price!!
- He opens the packages with care and caresses the suede and leather jackets like they are the most precious things on earth.
- He even takes a lighter and puts it to the leather to show that it is real (vinyl would burn?)
- All of this done in a Dark Parking Lot !! - I Fell Like a Loser!!
Question: (What Armani Rep would do this to the product i.e put a match to it, and by the way - Armani is a multi-billion dollar company who would pay for all expenses for a Business Trip.....even for Duties (that by the way Luigi would have paid when he arrived from Italy and not pay when he is leaving).
The Hook and Real
- Price of $800 is given, I take him to $400 - He said how about $500, I agree.
- He keeps saying he trusts me. - I bet he trusts us F*****G gullible Canadians.
- He even shows me his confirmation email for Airport - Leaves on a flight to Milano at 12:00 am
Total Fake cut and paste job !!
He gets my $500 after I drive to bank, we exchange items and then Luigi HUGS me and tells me he will call me when he is back in Canada.
Yeah he gave me the: I just F****D You and you don't know it Canadian Loser Hug !!
I leave thinking maybe I made a new friend from Europe, I even thought I would email him and have him befriend me on Facebook.....I mean he gave me a cheap whit card that anyone can order from Staples - RIGHT? O the possibilities I invisioned maybe even more Armani stuff may come my way when he comes next time, O how I could impress....
Go home a look at product and wanted to throw up!!
Items are not Armani !!
They are what you find at your local flea market or mom and pop shop selling no name products from China with a Made In Italy Label.
All labels say E.A Collezione no Armani tags in site - I look up Armani Logos on-line - Not even close.
The Jackets even have tags and Hologram Stickers.....
Lesson Learned:
AS A NORMAL CANADIAN WHO HAS NEVER OWNED A REAL ARMANI ANYTHING EXCEPT COLOGNE. DO NOT TRUST ANYONE SELLING ANYTHING OUT OF THE BACK OF A CAR, EVEN IF IT IS A SUV AND THEY SAY THEY ARE FROM ITALY AND WANT TO OF OFF LOAD A NAME BRAND PRODUCT TO AVOID DUTIES.....
TELL THEM THEY ARE A FRAUD AND TAKE A PHOTO OF THEM AND WALK AWAY...
