Dual Fantasy Studios 2 Creatures by Chase lied to me and never shipped product I bought Las Vegas, Nevada, Internet |

Chase with Dual Fantasy Studios was donating a custom made tutu to a family that needed money for their daughter's medical expenses. I won the auction and immediately paid $60. Although the money did not go to Chase, I still paid $60 for this custom made tutu. On 09/05 I emailed Chase with my tutu colors, size, and shipping address and did not hear back form her. On 09/09 I emailed her again just to make sure that she received everything. On 09/12 she emailed me back saying that she did get my email and asking when I needed the costume by. I replied that same day that I needed it by her 1st birthday party on 10/15. I got no response. 10/15 came and went with no costume. On 10/16 I emailed her again and asked when I could expect the costume so that I could at least have it in time for Halloween and her 1st birthday pictures. No response. Emailed and left a voice message on 10/18. Getting really nervous now because I have not heard back from her. On 10/19 she called me and left me a voice message. She stated that she was finishing up my specific colored costume that night and that she would not be going to bed because she had been so busy and that my order would be shipped the very next day on 10/20. On 10/25 I emailed her again and left another voice message to say that the costume had not yet arrived and that Halloween was in 6 days. I had no back-up plan and no costume for my daughter and my other two children already had matching costumes. I already had to cancel my picture appointment and re-scheduled it for Halloween weekend. On 10/26 she responded that all of my emails had magically been sitting in her spam folder even though she had received all of my other emails previously. She proceeded to tell me that this year she has had the worst clients ever who have made things miserable for her and they won;t wait patiently for their costumes. She said that she was overnighting ALL of her remaining costumes within 48 hours so that they would arrive by Friday in time for the weekend parties. I responded that same day and bit my tongue. She sounded extremely stressed and I tried to put myself in her shoes. I instead apologized to her if I had been been bothering her, but I simply wanted to ensure that my costume would arrive on time. She responded again the same day assuring me that everything would be overnighting the next day and that I would have my costume on Friday. Friday, 10/28 - no $60 custom made Halloween costume arrived Saturday, 10/29 - no $60 custom made Halloween costume arrived Saturday, 10/29 - I called and emailed her AT LEAST 10 times begging and pleading with her to give me the tracking number so that I could track my package or to just be honest with me and tell me that I would have no costume so that I could attempt to purchase something even vaguely resembling what I wanted. We had a Halloween party at our house that day and my daughter still had no costume. Sunday, 10/30 - no $60 custom made Halloween costume arrived. I ended up driving to Party City, dealing with the crowds, and buying an additional costume for my daughter so somewhat match her two sisters. Monday, 10/31 - no $60 custom made Halloween costume arrived and no message from Chase or Dual Fantasy Studios. Tuesday, 11/01 - no $60 custom made Halloween costume arrived and no message from Chase or Dual Fantasy Studios. I have been 100% ripped off. My only consolation is that my money went to a good cause - the charity for this family. However, she pretended to be a good person and pretended to make this donation and will probably claim it on her taxes. Even if she were in the hospital, she could have had a family member email me to say sorry, due to unforeseen circumstances, your costume will not arrive on time. She couldn't even bother to do that. That's how much Chase values her customers and customer service. Plus, to make matters worse she also sells on Etsy and I read 10 recent comments from this past week with a story similar to mine. She stole their money and did not deliver a costume. |
