Driver's Auto Repair #104 Shady Work Houston, Texas |
17th of Oct, 2011 by User363009 |
I took my truck in to driver's auto repair on jones rd. On October 10, 2011 for them to change my timing belt. They told my husband that they were going to change out the timing belt and that evrything should cost about $550.00 but if it needs a kit then it was goin to cost another $150.00. So my husband told them that that was fine to go head and fix the timing belt. Later that day my husband called to check the status of the truck they told him that I was able to pick the truck up at 6:45p. When I got there I paid them $669.62 for the repairs. I waited and ten minutes later the manager can out and said that I would have to pick up the truck the next day because they had to remeasure everything about it was not aline right. So the next day they then called my husband and told him that the motor was no good. And the only way for us to get a credit is if we buy a $5,500.00 motor from them. They would put $669.62 at credit to that balance. My husband then stated to ask questions which they could not answer. My husband then had my truck towed to my father-in-laws house. When they truck got there my father in law called my husband to inform him that our truck was in parts. Nothing was put together. My husband then call them and ask them what happen why was our truck in parts. My husband also told them that he wanted a credit back for them not fixing the truck. The manager told my husband that here is not way that he was going to get his money back. I talked to who look at my truck and he said that what they did was the didn't aline the timing belt right and it doesn't matter what kind fo motor it is but on Nissians if the don't aline it right when you try to start it it will shoot the motor, and that is what they did and now no one will return my calls, and if they do they will not give you any numbers. On the website it says that the company is owned by Scott and Rebbecca Darrell but the is not true it is a DBA and it is owned by GSSD Investments, LLC and their customer service number doesn't work. |
