I inquired about being a mystery shopper and how it works. I was signed up for a 7 day trial and charged $3.95 only. There was another program that was suppose to be iniated called Surplus Shoppers at a trial charge of $2.95. This charge was never even charged to my card at all to start the service. A member customer service number was given to call back to cancel before the trial period was over, which I did in less than 5 days. The $3.95 was refunded back to my account. Since the $2.95 had never even been charged there was no refund. When I called I canceled all services. Surplus Shoppers continued to charge my account $49.95 for the next 2 months. I contacted them and they argued with me telling me I only canceled the mystery shopper and not them. They were will to play the recording of the initial contact/sale, but refused to play the recording of when I called and canceled the program. All they would say is it is non refundable and supposedly they would cancel my account now. This company is very unprofessional and thieves. They have been turned in to the BBB over 100 times and even reported to the government. When is anybody ever going to do anything to stop them from stealing from innocent people?

I got taken for 49.95 twice and 3.95 so far I called and "canceled" this account today. I am very unhappy, I didn't have the $ in the first place. I am a single disabled mom! I really didn't need more problems. It's nice to know now, after the fact. I called to cancel this again, and customer service was not helpful at all. I told the agent, who I could not understand at all (spoke broken english, with a strong accent) that I couldn't understand him, and could I speak to another agent. He finally put me on hold for another agent, after telling me that I "had" to speak to him! I told him that since he wasn't speaking english that I could understand, could I speak with someone else.
I held on line holding for someone else, with this recording, saying PLEASE HOLD ON FOR A CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT = over and over. After counting 50 times, I hung up. I wanted to make sure that they would cancel the whole thing. I wish I had never heard of this place. It's for sure I didn't go looking for it!
