The living room, dining room, and kitchen in our house are one big room, and my wife and I have been debating forever what color to paint the rooms. While I was at a paint store, a salesperson told me about a color consultation program that they offered. For $75 dollars, an interior designer would come to your house and give a personalized consultation. My wife was thrilled with the idea, so we set up an appointment with Nancy Drew of Drew Designs, LTD.

Nancy Drew canceled our appointment with almost zero notice, and we had to call her numerous times before she finally called us back to set up another appointment. She was nearly an hour late for the rescheduled appointment, but at that time we were just happy she showed up.

My wife was happy with the colors picked at the consultation, and Nancy Drew said she would send us the paint swatches in the mail so that we could take them to a paint store. She said we would get them in a couple of days.

For two weeks, my wife kept checking in with Nancy Drew to see where our paint swatches were. Nancy Drew kept saying that she had been 'busy' and would send them soon. My wife finally gave up and went to Lowe's on her own to pick out paint colors.

I know $75 dollars isn't a lot of money, but Nancy Drew shouldn't be listed as a color consultant if she's too busy to consult. She certainly wasn't too busy to cash our check!

I doubt my wife and I will every need to hire an interior designer again, but if we did, it would NEVER be Nancy Drew with Drew Designs, LTD.
