Dont Pre-Pay With Dr. Kevin Kerchansky (scam) DON'T PREPAY for massage, "rehab" or chiropractic treatments with Dr. Kevin Kerchansky, DC, chiropractor at Triad Pain Management Clinic in Tempe, AZ. You may never get the treatments that you pay for! Dr. Kevin Kerchansky ripped off Columbus, Ohio residents while he owned Grandview Ave Physical Therapy. Not only did Dr. Kevin Kerchansky take the money for pre-paid visits and never give the treatments, but when he did give the treatments, the services were provivded by non-licensed physical therapists. Yes, that's right, he offered "physical therapy" but massage techs, personal trainers, and other non qualified staff members rendered the treatments that was supposed to be done by PT's. Essentially, MD's and other health care professionals were referring their patients to Grandview Ave Physical Therapy but THERE WERE NO PHYSICAL THERAPISTS THERE!!! Here are YELP reviews; yelp review 1: 1.0 star rating 2/20/2013 Did you pay Dr. Kevin Kerchansky's business, Grandview Ave Physical Therapy for prepaid treatments and NOT receive those treatments that you paid for? We located Dr. Kevin Kerchansky, DC, a chiropractor in Arizona who owned/owns this place. Perhaps you can get your money back from Dr. Kevin Kerchansky as he has been located working for Triad Pain Management Clinic, 4515 S. McClintock Dr., Suite 120, Tempe, AZ 85282, (480) 413-0586 Tel, and the fax # is (480) 730-0487. Its bulls**** that he took the money and headed West into the sunset. There is currently an investigation by the Ohio Attorney General into the business of Dr. Kevin Kerchansky and Grandview Ave Physical Therapy. yelp review 2: Jasmine C. Practicing outside of your scope of practice is illegal and can get your license revoked. I interviewed there as a newly licensed LMT and trust me, I remember the law portion of my state board exam well enough to know this. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they got caught and shut down. I'm wondering what has come of the licenses of the LMTs who worked there. yelp review 3: I used to go here for deep tissue massage so can't speak to any of the "former" services. The staff was always great as were the massages... they had that part right! Unfortunately I showed up for my 4:30 appointment on 10/17/12 to find the door locked and the lights out. At first I thought maybe they had something happen and had to close for the day until I looked at the medical records rack to see all the files were gone... leading me to believe either they moved and I missed it or they were closed. The phone still worked and there was no call to inform me that they had moved, or closed for the day. So I went to their website, which I would never do prior to the appointment to find this: Dr. Kevin Kerchansky stole money from patients and then directed his staff this write this letter; We would like to thank you for the trust you have put in GAPT by allowing us to provide your physical therapy and chiropractic services. However, after due consideration, we have made a decision to cease operation as of Friday, October 5th, 2012. At your request, we will be happy to provide you with a copy of your medical records. You may request your records by sending a written request to GAPT, Records Dept, 1378 Grandview Ave., Columbus, OH 43212, or by email at contact@grandviewphysica. . .. We also have a message service available at 614-488-2225. Please include your name, date of birth, and address. Please send all requests by October 31, 2012. It stinks not only because they provided great deep tissue massage and now I have to find a new place BUT even more so in the fact they I had paid in advance for 4 massages that I will never receive and they have my money. Bummed! yelp review 4: Becca S. 1.0 star rating 10/22/2012 2 Check-ins Here What Greg C. said. Currently out $90. Thanks for being pro-active, GAPT! Listed in: 100 in 2012 Yelp review 5: Carol S. Dublin, OH 1.0 star rating 10/18/2012 I would prefer to have a licensed physical therapist see me for medically recommended physical therapy, not an athletic trainer, college student or massage therapist. If you are referred for physical therapy, find a place with licensed PTs (Physical Therapists, not personal trainers) on staff that provide the treatment. yelp review 6: Steven V. Columbus, OH 1.0 star rating 10/10/2012 Same experience as John L's review from 2 days ago. Showed up for my 3pm appointment to find the door locked and it dark inside (office supposedly open 2-6 on Wednesdays). A Tim Horton's cup on the counter made me think maybe someone had to step away and locked the door for security for a hot second. Waited around for 15 minutes and nothing changed. A second patron approached and tried to open and said they also had a massage appointment. Never heard anything from them and the phone went to answering machine with no mention of anything different. Website also appears to be down now, what is going on? Is Dr. Kevin Kerchansky a doctor you really want to see, or, refer to? I mean, he rips off all these people in Ohio and then sets up shop in AZ and may do it again? There is an ongoing investigation by the Ohio Attorney General into the business practices of Dr. Kevin Kerchansky. 10/10/2012 Same experience as John L's review from 2 days ago.
