I ordered a new solar pool cover from them three weeks ago. Instead of sending me a pool cover they sent me a pool sand pump. When I called to tell them they sent me the wrong item, they informed me they would not send out my pool cover until they got the pump back, because the pump is such an expensive item. So annoyed, because the mistake was their fault, and they never would have known they sent me a pump except for the fact that I called them and told them. But trying to be understanding, yet annoyed, I set the pump outside for the shipping company to pick it up and return it to Doheny's. It is now two weeks later and I still don't have my pool cover. I have called three times, today the customer service representative at Doheny's said, "You still haven't received that". I am totally annoyed, I asked for the cover to be over nighted, they don't do that they said, I asked for it to be shipped out the same day they received the pump I sent back...well two days later and the cover still hasn't gone out. What it comes down to, is I should have kept the pump, sold it on craigslist and bought a new cover from another company and I would have a new cover by now. Instead I am still waiting for Doheny's to ship me my originally ordered cover! How is it they send me the wrong item and I am punished for it? I didn't need a pump, I didn't want a pump, I just wanted my solar cover and I still don't have the stupid cover. I called today and the customer rep said she would have to call me back after she looked into the issue. So now I have to skim and clean my pool everyday and it isn't gaining one ounce of heat for over two weeks. Doheny's is just plain unprofessional and incapable. I will never, ever order anything from them again and I will make sure no one I know does either.

We got a marketing email regarding a Fourth of July Sale the quoted a Clear Tec Sand 19in Sand Filter for $ 172.99 with PROMO CODE JULY SALE. Free Delivery. We called up and spoke with the Customer Service answering line and ordered the item and were told of the handling charge that brought the final cost to $ 183.98. We agreed and tendered the credit card payment. The next day (Today) we get a call to call 800-574-7665 and speak with Joan regarding our order that was placed. I called the number and spoke with John who in turn got Joan on the phone line. Joan, who informed me that the item was sold out and no longer available. I said that we were told yesterday that it was available when we ordered the item. I hung up and told my husband, he called up and John answered the phone and would not put Joan back on the line. My husband said "how can this item be out of stock when I am receiving emails on its availability. No response from John! My husband said that he was very disappointed and was going to write a letter to company regarding his impression and John, the representative hung up on my husband. I would never do business with this company at all. Unhappy in New Hampshire
