DK Madison LLC Dan Lee Unsolicited commercial emails from PromotionStocks.com New York, New York

There exists a premium newsletter service that specializes in the penny stock world. It is owned by DK Madison LLC, a Limited Liability Company managed by Dan Lee with a corporate address listed as: 4 Ashfield Ct., Littlestown, PA 17340. On January 23 2012 this entity delivered two unsolicited spam emails to me and at least 4 other people that I talk with receiving the same unsolicited emails from them. Their website claims to give you advance notice of stocks that will be promoted but I didn't really know anything about them until the emails I received today and after I spoke with one member that pays for their service. When I clicked the link to make sure they never emailed me again I noticed that they used "Express Email Marketing" to send out this unsolicited email. I found out that the email service is owned by GoDaddy so I called them. They directed me to their terms of service and in fact what occurred today violated their terms. I probably violated federal spam laws as well. One stock message board has said that the senders purchased the bulk email lisst that was used. At first I brushed that off as a rumor but this evening the member that belongs to their service sent me an image of their chatroom and in fact Dan Lee admitted to purchasing the email list that was used to blast out emails using express email marketing. According to the CAN-SPAM Act it is illegal to use purchased email lists for sending out commercial bulk emails. There is so much spam going on and more and more of it reaches my inbox. I normally do not take so much time to write about experiences like this but so many of these spam emails are related to penny stocks so I just could not ignore this issue and do nothing. There are legal websites that say fines can be as much as $1,000 for each unsolicited commercial email sent and I will continue to pursue this until I feel that justice is served.
