On 11-18-11 I submitted a movers inquiry online, we were moving into another home and from the commercial they have. Your satellite will be the first thing set up. We moved in 11-20-11 and no cable/ satellite. On 11-23-11 I called in to find out what happen. The representative told me they didn't receive anything. Okay I was a little pissed but no big deal. She then set up my appointment for 11-28-11 on a Monday due to the holiday, Thanksgiving. I asked her two questions, the first one was is it free and will I get a discount for non service. She said it's free to set up service at your new house, its the movers process they have for customers and she also told me they will prorate my bill for the time we didn't get service. On 12-6-11 I received my bill online and its for $200.52 which includes a $80.00 movers fee and the monthly fee for satellite usage, the full amount. I immediately called in and spoke to two people, the first representative was rude, the next one was polite but unable to help! She looked into my account, discounted $11.19 for non-usage which wasn't much and told me the $80.00 still has to be paid..she said unfortunately the previous reprentative you spoke to on 11-23-11 to schedule the mover's didn't waive the fee is their isn't anything she can do. Now I'm here telling my story and I have to say this isn't right! Even if their was a fee associated with the move, disclose how much and not surprise you on the bill. Also who charges to move? Theirs a satellite in the new house and its pre-wired, I also have the dish receivers from the old house. Nothing was done on their part but they were quick to charge $80.00. Aside from all this they told me it was free of charge, now I get a bill and it's too bad you have to pay it and by the way it was $80.00 |
