DirecTV Charged for bogus PPV after cancelling service Phoenix, Arizona

We cancelled our DirecTV service Early October 2011 and paid the final payment with a credit card. Two months after we cancelled we were billed for a PPV movie and they had charged it to that credit card without informing us first. I called the customer support number and I was told that there was a record of a PPV movie on the smart card in the receiver that was marked as the master bedroom. Once I worked out the information I told them it was not possible that we had ordered the movie. I explained that we had purchased the house early June 2009. We had the service connected June 17th, 2009 and the only thing in the house at the time was a small TV we had brought over to hook up the service. It was moved from room to room, the living room being the the final receiver connected and it was left there. We also changed the locks that day as well. We did not return to the house until June 28th, 2009 at which point we moved into the house. DirecTV claims that a movies was ordered on June 22nd, 2009. No one was even in the house that week, no one but my wife and I had keys. I explained that the receiver hadn't even had a TV hooked to it and that there wasn't even a chair in the house. I explained that it was impossible for us to have ordered a PPV movie on that day. No one was in the house on that day and there were no signs of someone breaking in. I was told that there was no way I was getting my money credited back to me. While it is only a charge of $12.44, I have been unemployed for 8 months and that is not a small amount of money to me right now.
