Direct Finance Loans The company did not do anything yet. But they are scammers. Minneapolis Minnesota

Please read starting from the bottom up. A red flag went up when they asked me to send them money on a preloadable card that was non Visa or Mastercard. I wrote: Derek, As you can see, I sent you a void check with my account number on it, so how could it be fraud. Also, it sounds a little sketchy for an insurance company to ask for money that way. It kind of sounds like a fraudelent company. I was told by another loan company that loan company do not ask for money up front, unless it's to run a credit check or back ground check and to be wirey of companies that do ask for money upfront for processing or insurance fee's. I wanted to get a better understanding of what kind of company you all have, so I tried to find you thorugh the BBB, and I could not locate your establishement. So, I contacted the leasing department of where your establishment is suppose to be (60 S 6th Street Ste 4001 Minneapolis, MN 55402) and was told there is no such company by that name in this building. So, I decided to dig a little deeper and do so internet searching, and I noticed that your server is located in the Bahamas, now that was a wake up call. It looks like this is a scam, and I kind of figure it out when you asked me to send the money from a preloadable card (non Visa or MC). That was what made me do my research. Also you guys are on Ripoffreport.com as well. I was always told that if something sound to good to be true, it usually is. Some legitimate loan companies will offer me the money, just at a very high interest rate that I'm not willing to pay, but for you to offer my less than 8%, I was a little shocked. So on that note, I no longer need the loan and will seek other measures for the money. Thanks anyway. He wrote: Date: Mon, 14 Jan 2013 10:59:34 -0500

Subject: RE: Direct Finance - Insurance Activation & Loan Release Hi , Given the quick turn around time between your loan release and insurance activation, the insurance company has implemented an activation system that is secure because funds used for the insurance activation cannot be reversed once the loan has been released(we have had minor instances of fraud in this area with debit and credit cards). This is the reason that funds cannot be deducted from a checking account at this time. As you loan agreement states we have a legally binding declaration of the loan funding that we have offered. Your loan is to be released into your bank account within 48 hours upon insurance activation. Your insurance only requires that you purchase the card at a participating location. No more or less hassle than sending a money order overnight. Please let me know if you'll require anything further, otherwise please give me a call when you have made the payment. Thanks, Derek Phillips
