STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I did a big mistake by buying camera from this company. I place the order online at 10 pm. The Digital Depot was closed at this time. I ordered the package: camera and 2 lenses. The price was very good. But one lens had description "Not for digital camera". I phone the company next morning as soon as they opened. I asked if this is mistake or not because, why would you sell a digital camera with lens as package and one lens is not for DSLR? I was told that camera has a very bad battery and both lenses not for DSLR and has no auto-focus. It was not mentioned on the web site. And I read a lot of reviews about this camera and nobody had complains about the battery. I asked to cancel the order and the salesman told me that they will charge me the 10% off cancellation fee. I disagree with that because they place the wrong information on the web site. And why would you charge 10% if I place the order at night and call them first in a morning. Nothing was done yet. The salesman offered me a deal. A better camera, better battery, lens with auto-focus, free shipping, tax free, no shipping insurance. I asked him about customs fee and he guaranteed me that he will mark it as gift and it would be no extra charges. You can not track you order online, so I call them and asked about my camera. The answer was that they will send me a notice online as soon as camera will be shipped. Few days later I checked my bank account and found two transactions in total more than my order. I phone Digital Depot and asked about it. They charged me $ 154 extra for shipping and insurance. I had to argue about it... The manager from the customer service was extremely rude... Finally he said:"okay I will refund you a 100 backs" and hung up. I call him again and said that I want a full refund, not just $ 100. He said:" Are you fucking kidding me? Okay I will refund you all 154." And hung up again. A phone him and say that after all I do not want to deal with Digital Depot and that I want to cancel my order. He told me that this is too late and camera was shipped already. Only 4 days later they send me a notice that my camera was shipped. So, they lied to me again... Two weeks later still no refund for shipping... I call them and they said that they will refund it only after delivering the product. Three weeks after placing the order the camera was delivered and UPS trying to charge me extra 160 dollars - tax. The conversations with customer service representatives didn't make any results. They didn't mark it as gift as they promised and they didn't want to cover tax, so I had to pay it. The Andrew - manager from the customer service was extremely rude again. He didn't want to listen and hung up at the end. I surprised to see that some people giving them 5 stars. Internet full of bad reviews for Digital Depot. This company is SCAM! They are selling bad quality products, price is higher that the other places, no support on the web site, customer service is terrible, they are stilling money from your account and they will charge you return or cancellation fee even if this not your mistake, no tracking ability, no address, no information about company... Every day I am going to spend a 5 minutes of my life and place a bad review about the Digital Depot to warn people stay away from this company.
