Derek Kelly aka Maverick Marsalis has a profile on blackplanet. com, MaverickTopGun, claiming to be the owner of a successful business specializing in the sale and service of collectible automobiles, a pilot since the age of 16, earning an MBA from Harvard Business School and living in Malibu, CA .I have confirmed his alleged business is a sham, that per the FAA he has never owned the plane that he claims is his and that he never attended or earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. There are numerous photos of him posted on this website which will hopefully lead to his capture, arrest and prosecution. He logs on to this site nearly every day for an hour or more at a time. |

| Ditto, I was ripped off by him for over $35k and he claimed to be a graduate from UT Austin and have roots in Texas. From what I have found, he has roots in Georgia and has a very long criminal / felon record. He uses some type of ID service but I have never seen a real driver's license he possesses and I have no doubt he is wanted by at least one or more district and/or federal courts in the U.S. He has had various scams but seems to flourish on scamming women on various personals sites. I know he has stolen at least 1 or 2 Porsches and probably fronts his so-called auto custom shop from getting some of the vehicles through chop shops or a combination of illegal activities. He has some ties to making B or C level porno movies and Pandora Peeks was once associated with him but to her credit at the time his flim flam low level movie company which was/is a barrel full of monkeys was probably just barely lucritive enough to smooze Pandora over to do one or two cheap videos with her and he has used that as his claim to fame for several years in the late 90s before she cut all ties to him -- smart woman. There is a place for him and the time is 'a com'n for him to be put in that place...oh yeah. |

| He got me for $50k. Thought I was safe cause we had a deal in writing. Got a judgement from the court- now I have 2 pieces of paper saying he owes me $50k. He was in LA at the time- last I heard he was doing his hustle in Vegas but Ive never heard of him getting busted. Hes smart enough to do low enough level stuff to stay under the radar. About 10 years ago a group of women (his victims) found each other on the internet- we had over $1m in provable losses and couldn't get the cops or the IRS interested in him. If he is in your life I absolutely GUARANTEE he will rip you off. He's been doing some hustle with exotic cars so if you're a private party selling one, watch out. |

Oh he got me good too! I gave birth to his baby girl three months ago. He didn't even show up until three days after her birth. He stuck me with the hospital bill and used my insurance. He tells me he's so wealthy, sure.
Yes, he not only got me physically, he got into my savings at the number of $375, 000. I fell in love with him and he told me he wanted to marry me. He was probably telling many other women the same thing.
I'm done with him and figure I'll never get my money back. He hasn't seen me or his new daughter in over a month. Says he's in China working on a deal. |

Yeah this joker is one of the bigger drug kingpins in America.
He's been dealing crack cocaine and weed for years!
I was told that he had HIV and was a child molester out in California that did kiddie porn.
Then I discovered that he plays on women and cons them out of their money and he's the biggest car thief in the whole United States.

I had heard that the HIV had killed him and that he had died but now I'm reading that he's got a new baby and working on deals in China???
Is the baby HIV positive?
I guess with the $375, 000 and the drug deals and his hustle with exotic cars and Pandora Peaks and B level porn movies the million dollars of losses that he took 10 years ago from all of these women and such that there is really no telling how deep this guy goes!

| Talked to him off and on for 10years now, actually he sent me about 20 messages just today.. He is on FB as Maverick Mavericks, on a site called Tagged under Maverick Top Gun. He has lied and lied, says he's never been married and has no kids, research shows that he is 58 with many children and has served time in Texas, Georgia and Cali. He has asked me for money thru the years but I've never given him a dime, always told him "I thought u had money" he claims its tied up here and there. None of his schooling shows he is an alum of any of those places! Found like 30 aliases he uses, Most recent alias this year is MAVERICK MANN, please beware of him as everyone has warned, he definitely needs to live life out as a prison bitch!! His parents by adoption are Anne & Wade Kelly of Georgia. He is a slick talkin mf but do not buy his story cuz nothing adds up with him except the lies!! I hope you go to prison Maverick and rot in there!! |
