I have been having this guy named kevin cooper he has a thick indian accent. He is telling me he is from Dept. of Law & Investigation. I told him that I can not have personal calls at work but yet he calls everyday. I will lose my job if he keeps calling.
I talked to him and he put me on the phone with his boss name Patrick Martin and he said that I had a loan with US cash advance and that when they went to take the money out it was not in my checking account. I have never had a loan with this company. I would havehad nsf fees if that would had happened. I don't even know how he got my information.
I told them to stop calling me at work but they still call my work and my cell phone. I don't know what to do about this. They say that I will go to jail if I don't pay the money which I am not paying sombody money that I have no clue who they are and have never heard of them before in my life.
I have read several reports already on this being a scam. I really need to know where to go from here. I want this to stop. |

I just got a phone number 213-986-5403 given to me from my work that said I was to call a Paul Wright immediately when I called the number it says your call cannot be completed. Must be the same thing. It is the US Federal Law and Investigation Division. You would think someone could do something. This is kind of scary. |

I had the same type of phone calls from a man named glen jacobs, obvious that he was of Indian ethnicity. He put me on with his "boss" cant remember the name, I told him this is my work number and to stop calling me, he then started to yell and threaten me that if I hung up he would just keep calling back, i told him I would be calling the police and he said go right ahead im not gonna stop calling!. I did hang up and for the next half an hour he continued to call, fortunately we have caller ID so i simply picked up and hung up, this is the kicker, i dont know how but then the number was as if i was calling myself. I immediately filed a report with the local police department, and had anyone who answered our work phone to say that i no longer work there. Its been about 3 weeks and I havent heard from them. At this point if they do call back Im planning on scamming them right back. |
