Department of Financial Investigations Officer Robert Martin Threats of lawsuit against my name and social security Number for fraud in Connecticut Ne

I have been receiving phone calls daily between 10:00am and noon. The messages are from a thick Indian accented male named Officer Robert Martin. He states that unless I "pick up" or "call him back", a lawsuit will be filed against my name and social security number for fraud in Connecticut. I have never "picked up" or called back for fear of this being one of those long distance billing scams. I have never knowingly done any business in Connecticut. My only suspicion is that I may have hit their radar because I have used payday loans in the past. I did a reverse phone number trace via internet and it comes back New York City. My work has had phone calls also but I havent been there when he/they called...but was told it was a thick Indian accented caller. Is there more to this than I'm aware or suspecting?

He's very fake DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY!!! I have been paying him money and its been one thing after another with him. So I went to the police station to look into it as he will not give me any more information than what makes him look scary. The officer told me NOT to pay him. He is a scam artist. He could be living in Mexico with a "Canadian ID", "Australian Phone number", "Sipping A Margarita on my dime." This has happened since November of 2010 and i just finally figured it out and stopped in June of 2011. I have lost at least $5000 from this guy. SO DO NOT SEND MONEY!!!
