I had an incident with someone and I found there are many other complaints against her on this site. I wanted to add mine. I had contacted this company because I found that they was selling Soytanical Aroma fragrances and I was getting into the lotion making as a hobby and wanted to see about turning my hobby into a small business. So I emailed. Deborah Dolen was the name used in her reply. This is where is became very strange and psycho. She acted like I was bothering her to ask my question and then started accusing me of stalking her. OMG! I had only asked her a soytanical aroma question! Then she wrote in all caps (which is like screaming at me) that I had no business in the business and threatened to put me in a lawsuit if I emailed her again. I cant believe I did email her again but I wanted to tell her that I wasnt trying to be mean but that I didnt understand why she would act like that. This is where she became psycho. She said (emailed) back that I was a ugly pig and she used just about every four letter and cuss word Ive ever heard of. In all caps too! This person is scary and acted like a psycho. THEN, about a week later, she emailed me out of the clear blue and wanted my credit card number and said she would send me whatever I wanted but that she needed my credit card number first. I didnt answer. Ive changed my email address and thank goodness she only knows my first name from my email to her. People should be very careful when dealing with someone they dont know anything about on the internet. There is no doubt in my mind that Ms Dolen is not a nice person. I told this to a few of my friends and they said to be very careful of her because she has been a criminal. I didn't get scammed, but I have the feeling I would have been. Im just really glad I didnt order from her and give her my money. |

Good luck GoBap2011. Seems Deborah Dolen is not a very good person. Posts like these are ALL OVER the internet dating back to 2004. She pretends to be a lot of different people online. Kinda like a box of chocolates-you never know what your gonna get. From what I've read online from various past customers of hers, she either runs up their credit card with extra charges or never ships her over-priced items-probably because she is buying and reselling from other people and rates have gone up. It's kind of hard when you take in 20 bucks, spend it on donut oil and still have to fulfill your customer orders. If you paid by credit card-call your credit card company immediately. If you paid by pay-pal file a dispute. Better hope she doesn't have your personal information cuz she'll stalk you online trashing you with made up garbage anywhere and everywhere. She'll threaten your young children's safety if you have any. Put the guard up and get ready for the snow-storm that's gonna hit if you dispute her! |

This brings back old memories.
I know she's done business for a while as Mabel White and has had a lot of run ins in the past 10 years online. I think shes taken on other names as well. One instance I remember was in 2003 or 2004 when she claimed she owned the trademark for Soywax and tried to bully vendors that used soywax in their products into thinking that if they didn't purchase the rights to use the word from exclusively from her that they would be taken to court and sued. She sent out mass emails regarding this and signed them as being an attorney for herself. (Saying that D. Dolen was attorney for Mabel White) This caused a huge commotion and she was reported and investigated for practicing law without a license. I can remember how threatening she became when she was challenged on this and was called out as being crazy. Turned out, she didn't own any trademark or rights to the term. It was all a bullying scam.
Prior to that time in about 2004, she was being sued by the FTC for a national Paralink paralegal scam and prior to that she was serving time in prison for a charity scam and for credit card fraud. This is all just in FL where she lived, but there is more out there in other states.
This is one of those people who can flip a lie on the fly and put on a convincing act for long enough to make it work for her. I guess that's what makes a con and con. Steering clear is the only advise I can give. |

I've been trying to get my money back too. I spent a little chunk of change a month ago. I didn't look for reviews first so its kind of my fault. Deborah dolen has my money and I got no products. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and they are trying to help me. I paid with paypal. Deborah dolen strung me along telling me my order was delayed until the time passed to file for a refund. This lady knows how to play games. I am sick and tired of this thief! Mabel White is her business name I guess. Gosh. I don't know if I can trust anyone no more! |

These fraud complaint boards are not the norm for me. But I'm going to jump in here and tell you people to watch your backs against Deborah Dolen. She left us high and dry for alot of money owed to us. After knowing exactly what she did and was doing to us, she threw out the victim card and turned to outright attacks. We filed a police report and I suggest you to the same. She doesn't give up. This new best selling author thing and saying shes writing a fictional book which will probably be about all of us that she left hanging in our little town. Hopefully that will be a legit best seller with a triple crown so we can get our money back! File your reports now people and get a head start! |
