deavillage.com - Wuggle pets Never asked if backorder was okay (voicebox) just sent it and now 2 months later, still no update as to when it will be |

I ordered Wuggle pets two months ago for my daughter as a present and the company only sent me part of the order. I received the stuffed animal portion but the voice boxes that go inside were "backordered" . Two weeks ago I followed up and they said they had no update on availability. I assured them their supplier must have provided a ship date and they said their manager had that information and I was told that the manager would be posting the availability date for the backorders on the website within the next day or two. That never happened. I called again now, another two weeks later and got the same answer, No update. I asked for a manager and Johanna the manager told me there was no update and I could cancel the voice box portion of my order. Due to her indifference, I asked to speak with her manager or somebody who had real information, perhaps their buyer. Instead, I was sent into Carmen's voicemail... Had I been given a choice when I placed the order to cancel the order until the voice recorders were available, I certainly would have. unfortunately, I was not afforded that opportunity. Wuggle pets decided themselves to ship and bill me an incomplete toy. Now, I would have to pay to repackage and reship my incomplete order back to them because of their deception and immoral business practices. All I want is a date for the voice recorders, which is part of the original product I ordered! This company if not an outright SCAM, is insensitive, difficult to deal with, and I would HIGHLY recommend no one does business with them!!!!! I certainly am disappointed I did, as is my daughter who basically received a broken toy and it would seem I have no recourse and the supplier couldn't care less. |

We ordered the 8 pack of Wuggle Pets, 3 were in the box. Called Customer Service and were told we need to send the whole package back (at our cost) to exchange the package. Also, the package that was delivered seemed to just have the items thrown in a box and what seemed to be juice spilled all over them. Pathetic. |

I went to their site to order the bundle that came with 8 pets for a birthday party activity. I entered my credit card info and then went to the screen where it gave shipping details (regular or expedited). When I realized that regular was 3-4 weeks and expedite was 5-7 days I decided it was too long as I needed the product by this weekend. I DID NOT KNOW THAT ANYONE TOOK 3-4 WEEKS ANYMORE. Anyway I never hit the final confirm button and could not hit the back button. I tried 20 times but they scam you into staying at the ordering page so I exited my browser instead as I was NOT planning on clicking confirm. Well what do you know, an hour later I get a confirmation e-mail for the $49.99 product plus $7.99 S&H. I called the 877-833-7685 number below to find out why my order had been placed but got routed t got routed to a website to check order status. I assumed that I could not get a live person because it was MLK day in the US. The next day I went to ideavillage.com/orderstatus and my order number did not exist so I contacted the customer care number listed on that web site 855 876-1812 and got sent to a call center in India. The lady stated that the order number I should be referring to is actually a different # and that my order shipped and that I should check the web site above for tracking information. No order was found. I asked to speak to her supervisor (Samantha) who she said was not available and to call back in an hour. I then was coincidently contacted by a lady from customer relations in the US and thought this was in reference to my complaint about the order but this was unrelated. She was just calling to verify my order and told me that if I needed to cancel this order that was not placed by me since I never hit the confirm button before exiting out of my browser to call 866 434-6600 but got fast busy all day. I then checked my order status on the web using a different method and yes this time the order showed up so this could have been user error but regardless it did not help me as the details were the same as what I had been given at customer service. I decided to call the 800 number again this evening and got a real person only to be told that if I want to cancel my order I need to call before 6:30 EST. Of course but you can’t even get into a IVR holding mode since there are no prompts. It’s either fast busy or you get a live person. At least this is what I experienced. I plan on contacting the Better Business Bureau and hope that others that have a bad experience do the same and also use social media to stop these companies from operating. What a shame to take advantage of people in this manner. I had a bad feeling when I went to the web site as I never buy anything from TV commercials. Now I learned my lesson and disappointed my child . |
