Culligan Water Company is a SCAM
I bought a Culligan water softer system, for almost $2500.00 on March 5, 2010. The salesperson tested my water,(STACY MOLYNEAUX OF DANFORDLAKE.COM) and came out a water hardness level of 11 grams. I even bought their "PEACE OF MIND" service program. What a mistake. Service calls were never scheduled timely, had to wait weeks before a service call. I kept complaining that the system is not working. Finally, on Mother's Day I had a service person acknowledge that the system is not working and that it probably was never installed correctly. He replaced the circuit board, system is still not working. Came back a week later and replaced the circuit board and the electrode, nothing much else to replace except the housing. System is still not working. Called Culligan left messages for manager that the system is not working. Not one call back. Called Culligan's main office (800) CULLIGAN, they informed me that I not their customer, so they could not help me. Have you ever heard of a more ridiculous comment? I made it clear that I want the system removed and my money returned in full. Not a word from anyopne at Culligan. Have started compaint proceeding against Culligan with the CMMTQ office, was well as a number of other avenue to bring this company to act responsibly.
One additional point; my water hardness has been tested by the numerous service technitians and they found my water hardness level to be in the 7 to 8 grams level. I believe that my water hardness level was initial manipulated by the salesperson,(STACY MOLYNEAUX) so as to make the sale.

The bottom line is DO NOT BUY CULLIGAN WATER PRODUCTS. DONOT HAVE STACY MOLYNEAUX UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUR HOME!! The local franchises are irresponsible, not trust worthy and do not have an ounce of concern for their customers. The main offices of Culligan are no better, they boast satisfaction guaranteed, but they are far from delivering on that promise.
