Dafer USA Lawyer Adriana Alma threaten to sue for breach of contract! but i never sign a contract!!! Internet |

My dad received a call about an english-learning program and they told him that since he does not speak english he may be available for a discount offer to buy a program from them. So they took a little information from him but no creditcard or social secury information. In a few minutes they called him back saying that he qualified for the offer. This program is well advertised on tv with the name of ingles sin barreras. They said that while right now in the market it would have cost him $3,158.12, it will only cost him $299.00 in this special offer. So they gave him the information about how many dvd's, book, etc. that was in the package and he agreed to buy it since is a program that he always wanted! Now my dad talked to me about how cool it was that he was getting this program that normaly would have cost him $3,158.12 for only $299.00, and since i am always on the computer at work and i know about internet & e-mail scams that try to rip people off & often recieve fraud calls, i explained to him that he needs to be carefull and make sure that he will not be a victim of these people, since it didn't sound good how they offered an expensive program for so low, so i asked him if it was ok for me to investigate this, and he say that it was fine. So i did and this is what i found out. I called the original Ingles sin Barreras company and they told me that they don't have any distributors in the usa but themselves & i explained the content of the package that my dad was buying, and they said although this package is from Ingles Sin Barreras, it is not as expensive as they told him it was. This package is only $591.00 and is called "video teacher", and it's the one that Dafer usa described to my dad, telling him that it was the original package that costs $2,398.00. So my dad desided to not buy it since it is the video teacher and not the actually advertised ingles sin barreras big package! Now they say that they have already shipped the package and we have to go to the fedex office to pick it up and give them a money order of $299.00. My dad explained to them how it wasn't what they said it was but they are now leaving phone messages threatening to sue for breach of contract if he doesn't pay them!!! we are been intimidated by this lawyer by the name of adriana alma who is been calling us like crazy for the past two days! Does my dad have to pay them? Can they really sue my dad? The lawyer says that she has a recording when my dad agree to pay this! Is it legal to record something without your consent? About the recording, if they really have it, in the recording you may actually hear how they say this program is the one that costs $3,158.12, which is a lie.
I really hope someone can help us! |
