i ordered a custon green flames on black full kit from them. after a few emails about how long it was taking (almost 2 months) i received them, the packaging did look adequate, but when i started assembly is when it all started going to crap. i had to drill 4 tabs, and the mirror mounts were about a quarter inch off. after 2 rides the paint cracked and seperated on the belly pans, then after 2 weeks i started getting milky bubbles underneath the paint. i emailed them for a repaint for at least the cracked belly plastics and they replied with i didnt put enough heat protection on, even when i sent pictures of the stock and replacement parts with all the heat protection in the same spots ! i paid $1050 to get this kit to my door, i feel like i got totally ripped. i just had a f250 back into my bike and knock it over and now they wont even respond to my emails for replacement parts or paint codes so i can do it myself. its been about a year and a half since i bought these and now the clear coat is coming off all over the place, exspecially where plastics meet and where they cleared over the vinyls...it is now starting to look like total s**t. save your money, buy off ebay and you'll get the same quality, hands down. We here at D9 Industries state we are not a 100% fitment company. No aftermarket company is and to say you are would be a lie, no one can be as good or better than the Original Manufacturer. You have to loosen your front fairing stay when mounting your plastics. Once mounted you re-tighten your front fairing stay. If you don't do this the bolt holes will appear to be off due to flex of the plastics. We have a 90 day warranty on your plastics. As long as you use the heat shields included in your kit within the manufacturers specifications, we will gladly honor any replacement claims. All heat shields must be applied to the plastics within 6 inches of any heat source. Failure to do so will void your warranty. Had you contacted D9 Industries and provided proof of your claim we would have sent you new plastics. We have no record of such an incident or request in our files. We keep all emails and correspondence. We have no emails pertaining to a F250 backing into a black bike with green flames. How can we respond to a email if we don't have it? We have 2 phone numbers listed on our site. Did you call them? If we didn't answer, did you leave a message. If we don't get to your call and you leave a message, we call you back as soon as possible. We have changed our paint and our manufacturing process since you supposedly bought these fairings 1 1/2 years ago. Ebay is not the same quality, not even close. We do not mass produce kits and store them in warehouses till you order. All our orders are custom made to the client. No 2 kits are ever the same. To say we are just like ebay is absurd. Try calling someone off ebay or emailing them. You will never get an answer. Let alone getting a tracking number for your kit. Plus, we deliver to your door within 3-4 weeks max. Ebay will take you up to 2 months if not longer. Try contacting someone on the phone before you bash them on the internet. We are in SC not FL. Where did you come up with that? Our numbers are 843 area code, that is SC. Not FL. |
