I was contacted by Pretzy to internet via email and telephone. I received a call and set up an interview with the caller whom said I applied for a position at their company. I could not verify whether I did, because careerbuilder currently has this feature when you can select multiple position at once to send your resume to. So, it's hard to keep up with the many position that are applied for. On the phone, she advised me that I should bring my resume, and she stated that it should be business attire (this puzzled me because why would I not dress in business attire for an job interview). Upon hanging up I checked my email and found that it was received 40 minutes prior to her calling to schedule an interview. From that point, I went on to research the company. I went on their website and did not see too much information on there. It just looked like they threw some information on an website template. Also, when I googled the name and seen scams had been committed by this company I found this site. With reviews of similar cases. One even had the exact same email about their interest in me that they received. This is the email stated the following: Good Morning James, Thank you for applying at CXN, Inc.! I know that in today's job market, finding a match for your career path can be very difficult. After reviewing your application, our Human Resources department feels like you would potentially be a match here at CXN, Inc. I'm touching base with you as a potential candidate for one of our open positions as an Entry Level Junior Executive. Because our online posting offers such a brief company description, I would like to familiarize you with who we are. CXN is a sales & marketing company based in Conshohocken, PA. We are responsible for increasing market share through brand management and new customer acquisition for some of the top Fortune 500 companies in the nation, as well as, local businesses in the Philadelphia area.
