It all started March 27th 2012 I contacted a company called GRIP THIS to aquire a set of really nice looking forward controls for my 2005 Dyna Lowrider.....asfter several question I was refered straight to the manufactuer named Custom Chopper Werks....after several hours on the phone i felt comforatable with the conversation to place an order for a set of forward controls a set of matching handgrips, toe pegs and passenger pegs. I was assured that this order was no problem and also agreed to a 10-15 day shipping window. Well here is where it gets good......10 days later I make a courtesy call to Bob and ask if parts have been shipped yet......I was told that a machine was down and that the parts would be delayed a few days........this went on for several weeks.....I finally recieved my first shippment on May 5th 2012 which only contained the hand grips and passenger pegs which by the way were wrong they were supposed to be black with contract cut....I was sent polished alumimium......from this point is where the contact started to get spaced out by the week(s). On June 27th I finally recieved the forward controls....this would be the last package i would recieve from this company. After a few conversations I was told by the owner Bob to keep the wrong parts till we get you order corrected.........In which I have done. And still to this day almost 1 year still have not a completed set of parts which i ordered and paid in full. Now we are facing a fitment issue and have tried contacting thru phone, email and cant seem to get any responce to my issues which are legit. After all of this I have done a litte reserch on Mr Rowe and its interesting what googling ROBER ROWE brings up! ! ! I should have done this before I gave him my 730$ but lesson learned. PLEASE anyone who is thinking about dealing with this con man needs to re evaluate doing so he will do nothing but steal your money. Oh yeah and he knows the trick to stealing it too he keeps you on the leash till paypals 90 day rule is up and then you will never hear from him again! ! ! ! STAY AWAY! ! !
