My car was backed over parked in Oneida,TN on September 5, 2011. I went to a couple of state farm shops to get estimates on fixing my car. Cumberland auto in Cookeville,Tn was local, State Farm bonded and could get it done quicker. So, I went with them to have my car fixed, dropped my car off September 19th at 8 am was in big hurry cause my son was to have surgery @10 am in Lebanon,TN the day to pick my car up was September 23rd 2011, first thing I noticed was that my bumper was cracked in corners around the grill which it was not when I took it in, dirt in paint, drivers side bumper was sitting high (passenger side was impact side), car was pulling when driving, (so I took the car to Firestone as soon as I could it was out of alignment, which it was not when I left it there my drivers side was -.18 out of toe which I had to pay $146.00 to have it put back in alignment) had 1/4 tank of gas when left it and was empty when I picked it up. My leather seats had grease in them, holes almost poked in back seat. My car smelled of oil and grease. Paint dust everywhere inside my car and in places I can't get to to clean. Upon speaking to Mark, the body shop manager he said he let Ultra Pro drive my car off the lot to "detail it" and they were gone with my car for about 2.5 hours and their shop is only 3 minutes up the road. On Saturday September 24th, I was on my way into work opened my ash tray to put my change in it and discovered my husbands diamond ring was gone. I called him ask him if he remembered to get it out and he said no and could not believe it was gone. I called Cumberland Auto and Mark told me to prove it was in the car,I told him I have a 7 year old child who knew it was did he want to talk to her? I ask Mark why my car would need detailed when it was only having bumper painted, fenders blended, hood replaced and painted a new chrome strip, a new grill and new light fixture, he said it was just something they do to be nice, I told him no my own mother has not drove my car to let someone I don't know drive my car left me feeling very much violated and upset, I didn't give permission for anyone to drive my car especially off the lot and he allowed a complete stranger to me drive it off of his lot and hit something with it. Cumberland Auto didn't do all the repairs listed on the sheet. I called State Farm and ask for an adjuster to look at this crappy job that was done on my car and the cracks in my bumper that were not previously there. The guy who came was named ED and he told me that he was friends with Mark from Cumberland Auto, and said he saw nothing wrong with my car. A Lady from State Farm called me and said to take my car where ever I wanted and it would be fixed like it was before ever being hit while parked. I have had to fight with state farm just to get a flawed hood that was put on at Cumberland Auto taken off and replaced. State Farm told me they were going to take the flaw out of it and I was stuck with it. I fought with them for well over a week before they said they would replace it with a NEW hood. Turns out the other hood didn't have some protective coating and the paint came off in a sheet. Well, they didn't replace the hood with a new one they did use a used hood. My car has been in the shop since October 3rd, was suppose to pick it up November 1st, drove all the way to Nashville and it wasn't done. Then was told it would be ready on November 5th. While in route to pick my car up the Collision manager called me told me bumper still isn't aligning right when he shut the hood he scratched it, my car really needed a new bumper and something was wrong obviously wrong with the support underneath cause the bumper won't align right. I told him that is what I have been trying to tell them all along but no one will listen. I am still without my car and now I am being told no they are not going to fix the bumper right nor my support underneath the car. My bumper on the car will never look right. I have found that State Farm has liars and the case worker is rude hateful and talks smart@@@ to me. I keep getting the run around and lies.I have filed a police report over the ring, which has not been found.
