CTA VACATIONS PASSPORT TO TRAVEL PROFESSIONAL CONS TO GET YOUR MONEY, MISREPRESENTED AND LIED ABOUT CHARGES ON FREE TRAVEL TAMPA, Florida |
22nd of Sep, 2011 by User914085 |
We got taken in on the pretense that there was to be 2 free airline tickets anywhere in the cont. U S with no restrictions, charges, fees of any sort. We also received a cruise to Mexico under the same no restrictions from CTA Vacations. So we bought into the membership for $2000. We had to send $4.95 to Passport to Travel to receive the package for these items. This was in May 2011 got the package in July 2011. This is when we found out about all these charges. We called the company and talked to Cheryl Pumper on July 7 and she sounded like she was so concerned and told us that this was not right and that they had already paid for these airline tickets and that there was to be no restrictions what so ever. Called her again on July 12, 15, and 21st she was still working trying to get things solved for us. Then on August 15 and 18 we left messages and never received any answers after that. We are now in the process of trying to get our credit card company to dispute the charge with these cons but we were told that it is past the time which is 60 days. This Cheryl Pumper person absolutely knew the law. That is why, I am absolutely sure, she strung us along until the time was up. She knew that if they would not have responded right away that we would of called our credit card company right then. |

I just purchased a membership but now I've found out that they are NOT BBB accredited and have been reading about all these extra charges. HELP!! Do you have any suggestions for me. It's only been a day and half and I've read so much negativity about it. ??? Cancel?? |

After investing $2000, did you get to use any of the vacation deals they spoke about. We are thinking of investing the $2000 as well, but are now very skepitical. Not very concerned with the free gift of two free airline tickets. Do you have to wait for the package to come before you use the membership. Please advise ASAP. Thank you very much.

I am trying to get them to stop charging my credit card and filing the dispute with my credit card company. When we signed up, they said we could cancel at anytime. Cheryl Pumper is trying to say that I can't cancel. I did declare in writing that they are not authorized to charge my card. Is there any other recourse to stop this nightmare? I will not give them another penny.
