We went to Crowson, Morrison and Spann and requested Ramona Morrison to represent us in a Custody case. She took our case and our money but did not respresent us well at all. She did not file all information, she did not communicate important information to us, and she did not do things in the case that were needed to prove we should win the case. She did not care and just took our money. She would not answer phone calls or respond to emails and when we made appointments, she would just take notes and we would leave. It was the most unprofessional attorney / client meetings I have ever seen. When she went before the Judge, she did not fight for us, she just agreed to whatever the other side wanted. What she did to us is criminal and unethical. We fired her, a letter was sent to her letting her know. Then she files a letter to the court saying she dismisses our case due to communication proiblems and lack of payment. These are lies. The communication problems were on her side and we ask more than once for them to send us statements and we never received one, ever. When we decided to hire Ramona and scheduled a meeting, she was not able to be there so we talked with David, another attorney in her firm. He assured us that they were a group that worked together closely and if she was not available one of the others would step in so the case would not be delayed for unavailability. He lied... that never happened. If we loose this case, it will be her fault for misrepresenting us. We have a good attorney now and hope we can recover from this. I can guarantee you one thing, she has not heard the last from us. We want our money back and an apology. |

I am EXTREMELY surprised by this "complain". I have been a client of Crowson, Morrison & Spann and particularly of Ramona Morrison. She is an excellent attorney and was extremely knowledge and effective in court. What some people do not understand is just because they don't get what they want out of a case doesn't mean the attorney has not done his/her job. What it usually means is that the client isn't doing what they are supposed to do and/or the client has a really bad set of facts in their case. i.e., child custody case - if the children are better off living with the other party -- |
