I am writing for my daughter Maegan Mires who has been fighting for her son since last year September 22, 2010. On Sept, 22, 2010 her boyfriend came in to Seguin, Texas to see his son. My daughter went to work and then I did. No sooner do i get to work do I get a call from my daughter's work saying that boyfriend is laoding up the child to leave and a sheriff's car is there. I rush home because I am closer and they are already gone. I call the sheriff officer and he said that our little house (one bedroom) was a mess and he would not have his dog living there. And then he made a report to CPS and allowed boyfriend take the child to New Waverly, texas. The only paperwork my daughter had was a mediation paper stating she had care of her son and boyfriend would visit. So my daughter and I went to CPS office and we were told it was overnighted to Conroe Texas. We all were perplexed!! My daughter calls her boyfriend (ex) and he will not answer. No one would answer their phones. Dustin is the father of the child and his father's girlfriend called Maegan and said Dante was fine and she was abad mother and she would never see him again. They changed their phone numbers, so we went to New Waverly and the police would not help my daughter with the same papers he used, we used and they said no way. We started looking for lawyers who would work with my duaghter and no luck. Finally my daughter said she had to be close to where her son was and so we made plans to move. The CPS worker received pictures of our home that is cleaned, we had a bad week due to working so much. My little house I was renting was small 20 x 15 maybe. We had room but I was saving to move closer to town and my daughter had a trailer picked out and ready to move in by October 1, 2010. So my daughter met with Jewell Mitchell in Conroe Texas and took her statement and mine. They were saying physical neglect and Maegan said HOW!! He was always clean, dressed and fed. Now, Dante (child) did have a mojor asthma attack on Sept 2, 1010, the doctor said those come for whatever reason, that she could not have stopped it. So we moved to Centerville, Texas on Oct 1, 2010 with my neice Laci Ralph @ 799 PR 1270 North, Centerville, Texas my daughter got a job and started working and never received a call from Jewell about wanting to see the house or anything. Finally, Maegan got to see Dante for a weekend and I returned Dante on Sunday at 9am at buckee's in Madisonville, texas On tuesday Maegan receives a phone call from Ms. Mitchell that she has concerns about Dante and some injuries. Maegan was now being accusing of burning her child and a big gash on his head. I took her to conroe on the 19th of November whenshe was suppose to get her son, and had a talk with Ms. Mitchell. took our statements separately and said that she would have to come out and see the house. My neice said NO because she has 4 children that she does not want involved in this situation. So we never heard from Ms. Mitchell again or Maegan's supposely her case. Then in February 2011 Maegan moved to Hunstville with her brother to be closer to Dante, Ms Mitchell was called and someone from Hunstville came to his apartment and took pictures. Went to court and another mediation and this time Maegan had a lawyer but still he did not fight for her rights at all. They came out and her lawyer said they were starting fresh and everything in the past is in the past. To say the lest we blew a gasket.........everything they have doen to Maegan under the rug. The judge will never hear. Maegan gave in just to see her son. CPS has never been involved!! Never a word. Never a piece of paper whatsoever!! Nothing ever signed other than a safety plan by Maegan in Hunstville, Texas And Dustin's dad's girlfriend ended up with a copy of that paper. The judge swored them in and they both promised to work together for the betterment for Dante. And she did not want to see them back in there again. guess what? we are going back. Maegan was given the month of July 2011 30 days with her son. But she did not get that-Dustin got 2 hrs on Wednesdays and ever other weekend. She has not seen her son in 9 months and this is what she gets and she agreed to. She sacrificed just to see her son and her lawyer she was disappointed in for not fighting for her. So Dante was excited for seeing his mother and they played hard, he got some bruises on him, but Maegan was smart and took him to CPS in Hunstville to show them and they said those were ok. But when Dustin came to pick Dante up for his weekend, he started raising cain because of the small bruises and that he lost 4lbs. So when Maegan picked him up on sunday, he had what looked like a black eye, dirty diaper. On Monday she took him to CPS and they said it looked like a black eye, they told her to take him to the doctor and she did. Of course it was their doctor they take him to as well. That doctor said it was a allergies and he weigh the same 29 lbs. So now I go to get him on Friday this past week and they pretended not to be home. My daughter texts them to let them know one hour away and she did this at 4:30pm. So I called the sheriff office and ask for assistance. Finally, the baby daddy came home would not even look at me and went into the house, next thing you know his father comes out cussing, getting in my cousins face telling us to get off his property. He said he was calling the cops so my cousin said please do. A few seconds later the dustin's father comes out again with a post hole digger, cussing and spitting to get off his property and my cousin was on the cell with the sheriff's office and trying to speak to them and dustin's dad. The post hole digger was being raised and my cousin was treathen with it, and then his truck was. My cousin held the phone to his ear, shut his door and started his truck. Dustin's dad look at me in the passenger side and said get that fat whore off my property. We went on the side of the road across from their home. What saddens me so is Dustin was standing there the whole time doing nothing. I do not know if Maegan will get help from her lawyer, but I want to complain about the treatment my daughter has recieved from CPS and this family. I want to complain how my grandson is living with a voilent man. Thank you!!
