Been fighting with Countrywide now since 2004....nothing would make them happy but to take away my home and 13 1/2 acres of land that I had worked so hard to pay for over 10 years and had put all my money in it. They had to have it!!!! Foreclosed on me.....killed my heart and soul. Guess What -- Countrywide BOUGHT it at the first auction sale and paid much more than what I owed on it......they really wanted it bad!!! Good Deal for me.... now i just have to live with other people, get another job, and try to get set up again....I can do this... Nine months later I get lawsuit paperwork that they want to have the sale voided, put the place back on the auction block for the second sale and hold me responsible for the balance I had owed. Yeah Right !!! Right after I had to leave my home, they shoved a lock on the door and walked away and the vandals went to work...pulled the wiring out of the house and all off the property, puched holes in the interior, busted out windows, stole cabinets out of the kitchen -- h**l someone even stole the toilet out of the bathroom. They did not keep the grounds maintained, it all grew up and looked like some really bad back woods. They did not protect their asset at all. No way am I going to let them void that sale and make me responsible. Got a lawyer and put my motion back in as no way did I agree to it. Had to do that for the next 3 years......lost my temper really bad in 2008 with them and I got left alone --- until the first of this year---2011 ---when I received paperwork from a high power collection agency that started in on me to pay the debt. Well, with the right paperwork and help of the Attorney General, they finally issued me my freedom in a letter stating that no I did not owe --GOT IT IN WRITING NOW...Now I just want them to pay ME the difference between what they paid for my place and what I had owed --well over $15,000. Wish me luck on that and I pray and hope and wish all ya'll good luck with kicking them back... and their slogan was " NO ONE CAN DO WHAT COUNTRYWIDE CAN". Don't know why they have not been shut down for all the bad business practices they have done. Jess in Damascus, Arkansas |
