Cool Ace Air Dishonoring Valid 10 Year Warranty Phoenix, Arizona

June 15, 2007 I purchased a brand new air conditioning unit from Cool Ace Air contract #501487 with a 10 year parts, labor, and compressor warranty. July 7, 2011 the air conditioner failed. That evening Ace Air sent there technician Dan to my home to diagnosis the problem. He told me the inside blower motor failed and upon presentation of my warranty papers stated the part should be covered. Soon after that however he told me the repair would not be warranteed due to not having called the company out for a annual inspection. No where on the original contract #501487 is that obligation stated to be required to maintain the warranty in good standing. Upon pointing this out to him I refused to sign the paperwork he presented to me stating his diagnosis and estimate of the repair for approx $1800. The next morning received a call from service manager KJ stating he would see what could be done. After three calls between him and I he informed me Trane the manufacturer would indeed warranty the part but at the same time Ace Air refuses to return to my home to due the repair. At this point the inside temparture of the house had reached 95 degrees. Upon there refusal to return with the now warranteed part I was forced to call another air conditioning company and pay $499 in labor charges for them to perform the 90 minute repair. One week less one day after Ace Air's visit they have sent me a invoice charged to my credit card for $80 for there diaganosis visit even though they flatly refused to return to honor my existing warranty paperwork. Please don't use this company for any repairs if you expect qualtiy honorable services.
