| I also inquired about some services off of craig's list spam that was sent to me about Quickbooks training for a new office hire of mine. Her name is Connie Brown, she would not give me an hourly rate over the phone but said she needed to see what we needed help in and then she would tell me. She seemed very nice so she started talking to my new employee, but seems to be in training mode instead of letting us know how much it would cost, someting told me it was not up and up, then she left with a check and promise of more service, but I had a bad feeling because she had a business card with no address, web site, etc. she would not invoice me, wanted money up front, did not have any credential on her and said she would just emial me a W9. I googled her after she left and saw there were other sites that claimed she was s scam, so I immediately put a stop pay on the check and she was at my bank within 20 minutes trying to cash the check, but as not able to. She sent me threating texts over and over all evening, but when I asked her to call me to make sure she was the real deal she would not address anything. This lady was not willing to prove me wrong at any time. I am glad I listened to my instinct this time for sure. I reported her to the Flower Mound police departent and they called her. Have not heard from her since. Watch out! If shw was up and up, she would have called me as I suggested to clear the matter up. |

| You are so lucky you were able to do that. She is a definite scam. She will engage in text and empty promises, but is not willing to earn the money we have paid her. She likes to make excuses as to why she doesn't have to return to do the work. Also, don't fall for the "I'm in the hospital" routine! She will take advantage of your good nature. |

| In December, 2010 I was scammed by Connie Brown. Two months ago we had a small claims court date set and she calls two days prior claiming she wants to reschedule and have a jury. I found out that the Frisco police has a case on her and her real name is Nancy Wilkey. We're scheduled for Tarrant County Court July 25th at 10:00 and as usual, I doubt if she will show up, but there are more of us victims who will be there, if anyone is interested in coming. |

| That is really stupid to think she is Nancy Wilkey!!! How do you think she cashes her check! You need to watch out about SLANDER!! She can turn around and countersue for FALSE STATEMENTS!!! I happen to know her Name is Connie Brown. SLANDER CAN REALLY COST A PERSON ALOT OF MONEY>>>>>>If she pursues with a LAWSUIT. |

Hello everyone,
I have the same story...she took are company for $750 just a few weeks ago. Iwill be contacting the Frisco police department tomorrow. Do any of you have any more info on her? What is her real name? I found a mug shot of her on Busted.com under Connie Brown. Also registered on a couple of other websites trying to fing more info but there is way 2 many Conniw Browns. If i knew her DOB wold be no prob but no luck so far. I will also contact my Bank maybe they can give me that info.
If any of you can help with any info please do so. Its not even about the money...its the principle.
