It's still going on: THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW THIS! It looks like the same person ([email protected]), but going by the name "Alicia Thompson" now.
I can't believe this is STILL happening and that they have not found this person or persons: I looked up this e-mail address on google because the 'wording' sounded weird, and here you're talking about the same address, and same wording, and all. You posted this feb 2013, and it's now 2015!

So instead of telling them that I'm on to them, I decided to make them know they are an asshole without really saying it to them, this is what I wrote:
I'm Sorry Alicia but I have lost my job, again, do to back pains and sickness and that's why I need to start selling my things so I can eat and maybe have something to pay my rent next month or I'm out. That's why I was so happy that someone might actually buy it, even though I'm only asking less than half as much as I paid for it 15 years ago.
But these days, with so many lazy asshole scammers out there taking advantage of people, instead of working for a living, like you & I, I now only deal in cash. You must be pretty-well-off, to have your own mover, wow. So I have a great idea for you; since your 'mover' will be here in person anyway, you can just give the check to him and he can cash it, or you could just give him the cash, and that way he can just hand it to me when he comes to get it. Does that sound like a better idea?
