On April 4, 2011 I purchased window clings from Colorful Impressions online. I received verification of purchase from the seller. After several weeks I tried to call the seller during business hours listed on their webpage. I never received a responce. I then started emailing and received a response from the seller which promised delivery soon. I never received the merchandise. I then contacted the seller via email and was told that she was the only painter and there were other orders ahead of mine. I was given the option then to get my money back. Now, I am a reasonable person so I decided not to accept a refund but to still wait on the merchandise. Several more weeks passed. I emailed again and was told that my order would be finished the weekend before Memorial Day and would be mailed the Tuesday after the holiday. After what I felt was a reasonable delivery time nothing came. I then emailed the seller again via email wanting to know the status of my order. I was given the story that she ran a business full time, she was the only painter and she took care of a sick mother. Now this really got to me because I shared by story of caregiving with her and wished her mother well. I still said to her that I expected my order and I thought the wait time was unreasonable. I suggessted to her that she post this on her website and told her that if I had not received the merchandise by June 4, 2011 I would begin a dispute resolution. It was not until today, June 6, 2011, 8 weeks and 2 days since the seller received my order that I decided I was going to check the Better Business Bureau and the internet to see if there was any adverse information against this company. Boy, was I surprised. There was a rating of "F" from the Better Business Bureau and 16 outstanding complaints. Non-receipt of merchandise was 10 of those 16 complaints. Well I then realized that I was not going to get my order. Why should I, nobody else did. I requested a full refund. It was after threatening the seller that I was going to file a complaint with the Attorney General of the state of Washington, and on that same day, I received a refund in my Pay Pal account. I do want to alert others that this company if BAD NEWS. It appears perfect and legit and has all the bells and whistles on its website. It just does not deliver . June Frampton you were 1 step from a visit from a a visit from me using my Southwest frequent flyer miles. And I was not coming alone. |
