Mine was James or Jim or something with a J Morrison and my code was different I too would not and will not be filling out the credit report... I even went to creditreport.com (which is where it took me http://www.creditreport.com/dni/default.aspx?PageTypeID=HomePage8&sc=674671&afid=2920&bcd=25023&FiliAff=25023 ) and compared the two website... seems real but they look different and I can not find what they are showing on the report.com home page ... if that makes sense. |

This is the copy and pasted email that I got I took out the code. I live in upstate NY and think that this is garbage. There are so many people looking for employment and there are people that are giving others false hope. Makes me insane. It is without a doubt a scam. Don't go through with the credit report if you get the email. God knows what they will do with your social security number...

I recieved the SAME EXACT email but his name was Darren Niltson. I sent my resume on Dec.6th 2011. The add I came across was for a Receptionist position in LOUISVILLE, KY. I applied for many receptionist jobs on craigslist that day and every email I recieved from them were all BS...Once I got this one and seen that they used my name, their company name, and wanted to do the screening I thought THIS one was ligit. I did my screening and once I seen they wanted me to do a credit check and knowing that with a credit check they need your social and other important information. I knew the whole thing was a waste of time and it was all BS. Back to the other adds I responded to, 3 of them asked me to do a credit check as well. There were 6 of these scams. We all need to be careful applying for jobs on craigslist. Seems to me as if they are trying to steel people's identities.

Hello All:
I too, received the same exact email from a post for a Veterinary Receptionist in Annapolis, MD. I don't know how to get the Affiliate ID for the posting to report it. I did not save the post. All I have is the email address I replied to. Does anyone know if the email address will help me with the Affiliate ID? This is my first time out of work in over 20 years and this is also the first job I applied for on CraigsList. And of course, I followed the directions to the credit report and it took me to creditreport.com. My letter was signed by Mark Wellman, Coleman Careers & Partner. Yes, they left off the "s" on Partners. That should have been my first clue! Never again! |
