This is my second complaint. I did not tell the entire situation in my first one, but as I read the other complaints I realized they were scammed as much as the others...maybe even worse. So I will try to save others from being ripped off by COCOA HYUNDAI. Here is the rest of the complaint. Justin the salesman said the warranty that comes with a new car is 100,000mi/10 yrs...no extra charge. When I got in to the finance man Brian, he gave me a contract to sign. It said 11.50% which I questioned because my credit being what it is, I expected it to be higher. He said no, go ahead & sign, I am pretty I will get you that. So I signed. I was signing and he was talking VERY fast & I was lost in the process. I told him over & over I was not understanding. But I finished and stupidly so. I am a disabled senior female & I believe he was purposely tying to confuse me. After everything was signed, I was told to wait as my car was coming from Jacksonville. I went carefully through all the paperwork while I waited. That is when I saw a "SERVICE CHARGE FOR $1726.00" added on the contract. I went right back into the finance guy's office and confronted him. With that he grabbed the contract out of my hands and threw it into the shredder. He said that was a charge to extend my warranty from 60,000mi/5 yrs. So the salesman LIED TO ME!! He came out with another contract MINUS THE $1726.00 BUT NOW THE INTEREST WENT UP TO 16.50%. I should have walked but I had no way home. AND HE KNEW THAT! He was going to get the money out of me one way or the other. This dealership is nothing but thieves. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!! I now own a car I HATE, that I have no way to pay for, and they are laughing all the way to the bank. I HATE COCOA HYUNDAI!!
