"I placed a order 1/22/2013 for a Nikon D600 Digital Camera and a Nikkor 70-200mm lens and paid $104.99 for ground shipping. The scheduled delivery date from my receipt was 2/10/2013. I never once received tracking information and I have not received either product. I have called customer service every day since 2/11/13 and talked to Peter. The first time I called him on 2/11/13 he informed me that the lens was on backorder (wish I would have known that earlier.) I asked for a refund and Peter said he would refund me for the lens and the shipping but the camera was already on its was and would arrive on 2/14/13. Today is 2/17/13 and still no camera or tracking information even though I have called every day since 2/11/13 asking for it. I have spoken with my credit card company and still have not received a refund now 6 days later! As I already stated I have called customer service every day since 2/11/13 also asking to speak with a manager but conveniently they have all been in a meeting at all hours of the day but Peter always assured me a manager would return my call... you guessed it, no call. This company has not only performed poorly but they have completely ripped me off! I have paid $3,294.75 and now have nothing in my hand and nobody willing to do anything about it. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CRIMINALS!" |

I agree 100 percent that what this person claims is true, as I have lost $1, 500 on an order i placed with this Closeoutdigital.com. They lie and deceive. When contacted about my order, they gave me different stories each time. I didnt receive a $550 speedlight I paid for and was told a different story each time. First they said it was shipping from a different warehouse, the second time he said there was a product recall and they had the shipment intercepted and returned. The third time I called and the third lie was that they would refund me the full amount. That was almost two months ago. I ordered a $900 lens, they substituted it with an inferior lens valued at $375, but charged me $900. I did receive my camera that I ordered, however it was with out warranty information and when I contacted "Ben" he said they sent in the warranty card on my behalf before shipment. The only propblem with that is when I called Nikon Corporate offices and provided them with my serial number, they informed me that this camera was not for sale in the USA and is without warranty. Another blatant lie. These crooks need to be put in 8X10 foot cell. Variuos reporting sites on the web will have horror stories about these crooks. They operated under a different web site called the digital.depot.com until around December of 2012 when complaints about their criminal business dealings became too numerous. I have compiled a mountain of evidence against these lowlife crooks and intend on turning them in to the FBI. I hope other victims have done so as well. |
